Corona 1.0.7 is out. This is for all 5.0.1 jailbreaks, regardless of "method" used to jailbreak (3GS, 4, 4S, iPad 2, etc). It fixes things like iBooks DRM decoding issues...! I just flipped through a few pages of Winnie the Pooh to test. Everything loaded fine. This is the first it's worked jailbroken since 4.2.1. Edit Old Bootrom 3GS users, do NOT install Corona at this time. Some issue was found with it that causes problems. ---------- Questions I will never expect to get answers from: * Which caused iBooks DRM issues - the jailbreak itself, or the Corona untether? I briefly used an iPhone 4 tethered at 5.0.1, but never tried iBooks with it (plus, the user did not have any DRM-protected books). * If Corona causes problems on old bootrom 3GS devices (and Corona isn't even needed for the untethered jailbreak of an old bootrom 3GS), would a Corona-less old bootrom 3GS still have iBooks DRM issues? Android's G+ Instant Upload feature was really handy, and is one of the things I miss most about my old Android phone. Is there a jailbreak app that will do the same thing, that is, automatically upload photos to Picasa as soon as a picture is taken?

Don't feel bad, I am in Kirkland WA which is just over the lake from Seattle and my data speeds/call drop issues are just terrible. Whenever I go back to Chicago I never experience anything like this. There are times where I have to shut off 3G just so I can receive calls at my condo. Edit: even better proof is that I was only able to post this because I am at my neighbors condo who just so happens to have an AT&T microcell router. Seriously, Seattle? I would expect better. Probably been asked before, but what's are the best lockscreen themes around that work on the 4S? I'm specifically looking for something that would be very minimalist when I have no new alerts, but when I DO get alerts, it would display them on the lockscreen. Stuff like emails, calendar alerts, texts, etc. I used to use LockInfo on my old phone, but I like the idea of not always having visible bars on the lockscreen when there are no alerts to deal with. If I have to have a cluttered lockscreen at all times, I'll probably just switch to IntelliScreenX since it looks nicer anyway. Definitely not going to use Typophone.

I bought IntelliscreenX but find that it is almost ALWAYS missing. When I restart my phone, or respring, it's there, and is fine... but then it's gone shortly after. I'm wondering if there's a conflict with BiteSMS or something. It's a pain.

Both of my A5 devices are having issues with playing music. My iPhone started to work after I restarted, but my iPad has been unable to play music at all. I haven't really installed too many packages - is this a common issue or a freak occurance?

obi_ant posted:Does anyone know why Cydia take so long to refresh it keeps stalling at packages when it loads up. cydia hits a bunch of different sources sequentially, one of them is still getting hammered with the influx of new devices being jailbroken. i kinda wish it would display which one is lagging so i could go disable it. i also wish it would fetch the pkg list updates in parallel rather than sequentially, but since it's basically a pretty GUI on apt i doubt they have the chops to make that happen.

What are the best emulators on Cydia? I see Snes9x EX, which is free. What about NES and GameBoy? NES.emu and GBC.emu? They are by the same author, but cost $6 and $5. I'd like to know if they are good before dropping the cash on them.
