I hope we get to see Sawtooth(besides his head) before the story ends, if just to see what the rest of him looks like. (Even better if they both end up prototyped somehow into a two-headed rapping robotsprite. Even grander if they're pre-entry prototypes.)

You know, it's probably a good thing I didn't get into that Homestuck RPG thing. I totally woulda prototyped a Hunk Rump magazine with the kernalsprite, have a Hunksprite. All the imps would have bulging biceps and pecs, perfectly sculpted rumps, and the most amazing handlebar moustaches. And the hunk queen. Yeah. How ya gonna deal with that, huh?

Here's a thing I just thought about. When Dirk inevitably breaks, I bet he'll try and put up a puppet-master defense when he starts freaking the gently caress out. It makes sense to me given how he refers to himself as a puppet-master. Now to decide if that would be beautiful or just plain heartrending...

I know I'm a little late to the ballgame, but I finally got to watch Hook today. I recorded it on DVR a few days ago, and I thought I'd watch it to finally make sense of the Rufio references a few hundred pages back. No idea why I missed the movie 20 years ago. drat, that film was a mixed bag.

Update. At first I thought Hussie screwed up with the tanktop sprite, but the outline is the same color as the turntable, is all. The funny thing about this is that Hussie has the same tattoo in the same place.

A parallel I perceive: Dirk is comparable to Jade, in that during their respective introductions, the comic seemed to play around with common signifiers of bad writing. Jade was surrounded by elements of the Mary Sue, and now Dirk bears traits of the idealized self-insert.

Dirk is a seriously amazing character.  He has the potential to be incredibly entertaining. I really cannot wait for him to interact with Dave (and potentially- if unlikely- Equius for the best goddamn log possible.)
