Long time listener, first time poster checking in here. Actually not so long time, I got on board around episode 260 and have been keeping up with new ones. I'm also at ep 57 on a complete run-through. I love this loving podcast. Is anyone else hesitant to share it with friends though? I don't want them to know that all my stories and jokes are stolen from UYD. Like pretty much every funny thing I say I owe to Sethro and Jah. It's tough times out here... I just realized that yesterday was the live show (oh-two, oh-two, two-oh-one-two). Were any goons in attendance? How was it?

The live show at Largo was awesome. Before the show Seth was going around thanking people and seemed genuinely nice and sincere. Jonathon was running around beforehand so I didn't get to meet him. Great crowd and great show with a lot of visuals. They opened with some of the animated stuff which was really brilliant. Got a sweet UYD hat

The live show was indeed awesome. I hope it transfers well to the podcast, because there were a lot of visual elements. Also, I won't spoil it, but they bring back a segment that you never thought they'd bring back. You should be able to hear how crazy the crowd gets when it happens. vvvvvv Nope. How fuckin dope is Seth's mom, right guys? I rolled my eyes so hard when she stood in for Jah before until I realized she was down as gently caress, the recent episode when she was on was fantastic. She's just so charming and willing to go with the flow. Plus the episode started with the Talking Heads, which should have been my first indication that a Romatelli was picking the music. I keep holding out hope that John shows up to replace Seth one night and they just share Jah stories. But Seth never gets sick and never wavers because he is some sort of ubermensch. I do remember when they called John up, and just in that little conversation he seemed really sweet and conversational. Edit: he was conversational in a conversation? What the gently caress, Raar. He was congenial, how bout that?

Yeah. Off the top of my head, she's guested three times. Even though I had a similar reaction to Raar's the first time she appeared, once things got going I realized I'd have no problem if she were on more often. I'd be up for hearing John again too. When they called him to wish him a happy birthday (I'd search for the episode number but their site is infuriatingly slow) I was all

Even though I find the show hilarious, I can see how other people wouldn't get it. I was really surprised that my little sister, of all people (Catholic, goes to church every Sunday) seems to like it the most. I'll share Youtube clips with friends and they'll find them funny ("Nothing weird, nothing gay" has become a regular one between me and a couple of friends), but most people just aren't down with chasing the chuckle dragon via podcast for an hour.
