Who knows if they were trying to stay in good graces but there is a story about a couple wrestlers ready to start a foot race and Shane jumped in and beat their assessment while wearing penny loafers. In fact I know this story isn't 100 percent accurate but you get the gist of it. The two guys he beat were regarded as the fastest guys in the back.
