I won't lie, Emmure is pretty awful but I loving love them none the less. Their shows are always fun to see live and their music gets me moving. Plus despite how crazy Frankie might actually seem, I met him once and he came across as a surprisingly nice and sincere guy, he seemed pretty grateful when I told him I enjoyed the show. They could stand to be a little more heavy in order to perfectly hit that spot, but they are sick eitherway. They'll probably be on my Spotify playlist for a while.

FYI - Veil of Maya's new cd which comes out in 2 weeks is on Spotify right now. After 1x spin I think its pretty good, couple of catchy tracks. Still doin the down-tuned thing...and unfortunately no song as good as "not safe to swim today," but 3rd track has a hilarious part near the end

That new Veil of Maya is pretty dope. I haven gone through it enough but i definitely was getting my VOM fix, unlike the borefest that was ID, but it's not giving me that awesome feeling I had when I listened to The Common Mans Collapse. Also I have been in real need for a fix for 1) Animosity lately. Mulholland have you heard of The Red Chord? They are a lot like Animosity. Their last CD, "Fed Through the Teeth Machine" is amazing, probably their best, even though its their 4th. They also have a new one coming out this year, which is sweeeeeeeeeet If you've already heard of em then nevermind hah Ion Dissonance is also a great band similar to what you are looking for, also Beneath the Massacre (though they are a little more technical...) Also yeah after a few spins new VoM is pretty meh...probably a 3/5. I am dissapoint
