I'm coming to this a little late, but I thought it was a great interview, one of the best in the while. Choe was really annoying to listen to at first, but drat, he is one fascinating crazy m'fer. Trantic masturbation in Japanese jails, playing percussion for Die Antwoort, hanging out in the Congo, earning a million dollars at age 30 by gambling in Vegas ... he's in the running to be the real Most Interesting Man In The World. It's taxing listening to him trying to finish a thought without getting distracted, but I would still love to hear the other 5,000 crazy stories he probably has about his life.

There's definitely something wrong with him mentally, though. At first I thought he was on coke, but then he said he doesn't drink or do drugs, and said several things that are indicative of Manic-Depressive Disorder or Bipolar of whatever they call it these days.

Yeah I'm with you, I didn't get all the Choe-hate, I thought he was pretty much the ideal Stern guest interview, especially if he was able to speak just a LITTLE bit more coherently without so much rapid pressured speech. Way better than the usual washed up rock 'n' roll or Hollywood celebrity or porn star.

He does come across as a classic manic depressive type though and unfortunately it wouldn't be too surprising a few years from now to hear that he blew all 200 million bucks gambling and committed suicide. I hope it doesn't happen though, I want to hear more stories about him screwing Power Rangers and mastering the Tantric arts of whacking off.

I just realized who his speech patterns reminded me of: Hanzi, the paranoid Pakistani-Canadian guy. He has a similar inability to finish a thought ... maybe Hanzi is also bipolar? If so, look at what a long-shot crapshoot bipolar disorder is: you can end up a multimillionaire with two bimbos sucking each of your balls, or you can end up like, well, Hanzi.

Yeah it was a great interview. He did say he doesn't do drugs but he also said he did Ayahuasca like Robin and tried to convince Howard to try it

Pressurized speech, which Choe has, is either bi-polar disorder or ADD. My guess is the former.

Is the show a rerun again today?

What is pressurized speech? Nevermind googled it. So is Howard filming AGT this week or something? I guess I should start listening to Artie's new show, I haven't really checked it out yet.

haha, I always do get a laugh when Howard tries to makes it like he doesn't like blow jobs. And his new realization that he doesn't need sex that much.

Though I don't get the Beth hate around here too much. She might be aftet just fame and fortune but at least it's for a good cause (helping animals). I kind of get a soft spot for a woman who begs to let a 3rd cat in their home. She could be out clubbing and trying to get a music career instead (or doing literally nothing), is all I'm saying.

It looks like North Shore Animal League has gotten a second star on Charity Navigator, so maybe they're not as horrible as they used to be. (This is the first I've seen them above a one-star rating.)

Fundraising Efficiency $0.19

Does this mean only 19 cents from each dollar actually goes to charity? That is slightly worse than the Komen people.

It helps if you think of it less as a charity and more as an excuse for rich people to go to fancy parties.

e. On the plus side if rich housewives are busy running horrible charities that gives them less time to star in horrible reality television shows.

Rich housewives who have never had to balance a checkbook in their life are running a charity.

I remember a story from a few years ago where it was reported that they lost quite a bit of money from one fundraiser because they paid too much for a telemarketing firm.

Hey, you want to save animals sometimes it pays to not think and burn through money existing animal charities could use. I mean, how are these animals supposed to know you are saving them without awareness?

Call in to the show, tell the call screener that you want to ask Howard if he's planning on banging Beth in his dressing room at AGT, then once you get on air start attacking him with the numbers.

I bet you won't even make 2 minutes before you get hung up on.

My biggest issue with The NSAL is that they claim to be a non kill shelter, but what they do when they cant place the animals they take in, is ship them off to any shelter that will take them, regardless if they are non kill.

MY WIFE has a friend that works for a cat rescue organization. Whenever a foster family has room, she will go to the kill shelters and pick out X number of cats that she knows will be easily adopted. The cats that are sick, bite, scratch, are old, etc. get left behind. It sucks but it's how it works.

Even branches of the Humane Society will put down animals that are undesirable.

Hell, even PETA does that. It's just a sad fact of life, and why the Humane Society always goes on about spaying and neutering animals. It prevents a population explosion like that.

Regular commercial entities presumably have some kind of work to do, and don't simply sit around and pull a salary that involves no work at all. It's basically rich people welfare.
