My Basenji:    Last one's just for kicks to see if I could pan with something and test the camera's AF speed. Try to ignore the utter hack job in PS, I (clearly) don't know how to use it. Technically there are all sorts of problems, but I liked the path the dog took so decided to make a go of stitching the frames together.

Given that it was originally just one of many tests to see how many sharp shots I could get while panning, I didn't have too much to work with. Had I known then what I know now, I would definitely have just gotten one shot of the lawn from that position with the lens stopped down so the background wasn't just random mosaic of blur and sharpness. Also I use "lawn" only in the broadest sense of the word.

Hookshot, your photos look underexposed - metering in snow is a pain in the rear end. I love the one with the snowy ball in his mouth hehe.

Hahah yeah, her beard is basically permanently dirty. Not only is she white, but she's also half terrier which means her face is always in mud. Thanks for pointing that out about the underexposure. I had set it to overexpose by a stop and it looked fine in LR, but I also noticed it after and was wondering if it was just me, so I'm glad to know it isn't. some photos i have taken of pets who have since passed away or we no longer have from over the years.  his name was snoopy. he was actually my boyfriends parents' dog. adopted from the pound, and died about a year later. they weren't aware of his medical issues :/  this is Alton. He lurks somewhere south of here, freely roaming where ever he may be now. Missing.  Mr biscuits. He lived his long life of 2 years and was pretty much awesome the whole time.  this was mr biscuits.....being cranky. good times were had with him.
