Plenty of ways to weaponise life. Cancer, or just make the tiny amounts of harmful bacteria on someone that would normally be killed by the immune system multiply super-fast or be near-unkillable. Lots of options.

I think Prison Warden just meant that we know - since at least that page - that they definitely do have teeth even if the x-ray thing is a one-off joke. (We've seen Dersites' teeth over and over, including on the most recent page as of this post.)

I think the idea of the carapace people having endo- and exo-skeletons is pretty cool. It makes them super durable, since they're meant for fighting after all, and it doesn't matter whether or not it's biologically plausible because they're just game constructs, it's not like they had to evolve or anything.

I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty loving annoyed by how there are bronies reblogging this angry that he pointed out that "their" show is literally for children, because they think he's calling them children by saying so. The show is marketed toward seven-year-old girls. Jesus christ, why does someone pointing that out offend these people. I also think it's funny that he says Mindfang's journal was a direct ripoff of bad fanfiction considering how, when it was part of the narrative, people kept saying how fanficcy it felt

 It’s nicely done, but it’s a drat show for kids. I do some silly poo poo with my spare time but I am not a child.  (Feel free to take!) Kind of disappointed with this batch. I always love Hussie's writing outside of Homestuck, but he pretty much just had to reiterate for the three hundredth time why serial reading skews perceptions blah blah blah. Which is completely true, but at this point I don't know why he just doesn't put up a FAQ on the site with his answer and stop spending three hours explaining the same drat concept every month.

With how much this guy talks about writing for the archive readers, I wonder if he actually realizes how much of a slog it is. An hour between Cascade and where we are now? Come on. It takes weeks or longer to read the archives beginning to end if you're not taking, you know, eight hour days or something. I read everything up to Vriska's death in the archives, and I can't say it feels like the story moved much quicker then than it does update to update. Two month hiatus aside, that is.

I never really "got" the mentality of forcing the show on others. He seems to be saying "It's technically impressive and it's okay to like a few characters." Which is perfectly fine. I watch the show, I enjoy watching it and I enjoy the characters, but I never really felt the need to rope in everybody else into it, at least not so much as Homestuck. I have a feeling this will lead to a nasty derail so I'm hoping this doesn't get to "big" on tumblr or something because that would be really loving stupid.

I cannot believe this man has pointed out that the target audience of My Little Pony is 5-9 year old girls. He is just as bad as Hasbro. Doesn't he know the real fans of the show are the bronies? Okay, enough of that derail. The questions to Andrew seemed more coherent this time. I wonder if that's a result of the hour the questions were asked, Hussie screening the questions more, or some third factor I'm not thinking of.
