If you mean by Doctor Guy you have a Surgeon, I'd trade you a Space Girl for the Surgeon. The wife of my mom's boss is ALSO a surgeon, so they could be a pair. I really hope there's a sale like this for series 7. I'm seriously considering just buying a case and selling the extras because there's so many in it I want.

I had no idea you could sandwich that divot between two bricks with the shaft pass-through lined up and have it stay.

The sleepyhead wound up being the one I grabbed at random and wound up having 100% accuracy with the other seven I felt around for. The best advice I can give you for the Sleepyhead is that the teddy bear feels really weird through the plastic. It's about the same size as the grey alien head, but the arms on the bear feel a bit like horns. (I had a bit of trouble finding a minotaur because the head doesn't come with the horns attached) The same gores for the baby chimpanzee from s5. I wound up buying one of those just to see what felt so weird inside the bag. As for the Romans, I knew I should've checked Bricklink before I decided against feeling up the thirty or so bags that remained in the hopper.

The only knock I have against it are some of the roof areas are a little weak, but it's not like I'm going to be taking that off all that often anyway.

TLG has been making the minifig bag dots harder to discern. I think they used to have red outlines, and now they're barely visible. They also supposedly change them partway through the production run. Has anyone been discouraged from feeling the bags to determine what's inside? The staff at TRU seems to accept it as part of the fanbase. The only weird moment I had was wandering around the store while I waited for another guy to finish trying to find the ones he wanted.

Finally got my robot, don't know why it took me so long to find him, he's the only one without a round head in the package and then managed to find 2 Roman dudes as well, didn't need them, but between them and the Bandit I think they are the coolest in the set.

The amount of printing and detail on the collectible mini-figs is amazing. The last time I really had any sets was with Exploriens, Aquazone, and the Western set way back when. The Western theme is when I feel like mini-fig faces and clothing were really starting to stand out from the two-color knights and pirates I had from the early-90s.

My fondling cheat is to make a 4x4 stack of them as I feel each one up with which one it is (usually have a printed sheet with me, or I just make it up looking on the phone). When someone else comes by and asks for one as I'm building out my two-of-everything collection, I hand them extras if I have it. Of course, once I get to like 5 of the skater guy in a pile, I just toss them back into the empty part of the box/shelve and continue. When I'm starting off, I generally can't tell them apart very well and make a separate pile of "I don't knows" that I go back to if I don't have everything, or I'm missing like 2 piles of guys. Really makes building out the collection much easier than "oh poo poo, I missed X, time to refondle." One time a TRU employee came by and asked if I'm going to buy them all. I said I only get two of each, and he asked if he could write on the ones I didn't want but already sorted. He went to get a pen and wrote on the bottom what they were for any kids who came in later looking for something. And the little 4 year old kid who really wanted a dwarf loved me. He got a few randomly from friends as gifts, but really wanted the dwarf. His dad didn't seem to much into the fondling, but wouldn't let him buy more than one so being handed a dwarf from me made his day.
