The Entire Universe posted:It's not supported by the Android version of the Chrome browser, which is not the browser that comes with Android, you have to install it from the market. It's currently no longer supported in the sense that it's no longer being developed. It will continue working until adobe releases a new desktop version and developers start using features exclusive to it. I recently ran up against this phenomenon when trying to help someone on a PowerPC Mac Mini try to watch a video on Facebook, only to have to tell her that she'll have to buy a new computer if she wants to do that.

I had CM7 on my touchpad and used ACMEInstaller to go directly to CM9. Now everything works except downloads from the market don't start/finish. Any ideas?

You need to update your google apps for ICS, if you haven't already. If that's not it under settings, apps, market, try clearing the cache and data Wiping your dalvik cache and cache partition in recovery might also help.

I installed CM7.1 on my Shift yesterday, and now it does this in landscape mode in pretty much anything that uses Webview (browser, Awful, etc.) http://www.imgur.com/TILlY.jpg Any ideas why/what to do? If not I'll just install the CM7.2 kang that's floating around on XDA and see if that fixes it.

Last night I managed to brick my infuse to the point that I thought I was just going to have to bite the bullet and warranty it. I was getting random radio and internet drops, and messaging almost completely stopped working with MIUI so I tried an ODIN back to stock reflash that went really bad. I had almost given up then I finally revived it with GTGs_Ultimate_Unbrick. I was so relieved to see that Samsung logo pop back up. Now i'm already putting something else on it. Why can't I just be happy with stock ?

I'm having problems with the Kindle app on my CM9 (alpha 2) Touchpad. It installs/launches fine, but crashes ("Unfortunately Amazon Kindle has stopped") whenever I click on a book in my library to download it. Has anyone else seen this or know of a fix? I'm in the UK but hopefully that shouldn't make a difference.

I'm loving CM9 for the most part even with the lack of hardware video playback, but none of the Amazon apps run at all. Not only does this prevent my from using it for its main purpose (Kindle) but it also stops me from using anything that I own through Amazon's app store.

Is there a way to prevent notification sounds from interrupting audio? It wouldn't be as much of a problem if it didn't keep playing. It always happens when I actually want to hear that particular sentence the person was in the middle of in my podcast, too. Oh, right. Droid X, EncounterICS 3. Abandoning that for another ICS build soon, though, but I'm sure any solutions would still apply. Maker Of Shoes posted:It's a native feature in CM7.x (Only some CM9 ROM's have it). I didn't have this problem on my Epic, did have it on my Evo 3D (both with stock and a Sense-like ROM), but haven't had the problem at all on my GNex running AOKP. It seems to me it might be something hardware-related (though perhaps CM can overcome those limitations?).

My app itself seems to be functioning fine. I haven't heard about that issue though.

Does anyone here have a GSM Evo 3D? I guess you'll likely be in Canada and using Rogers. I'm mainly shopping for the Nexus S i9020A, but it's looking like I may have an easier time finding a Canadian GSM Evo 3D. I'm curious on how development is going for it, as well as how the ICS roms run and if you've had any big issues. Would love to hear more about it!

I want to reflash the same or a newer cm7 rom on my G2 in order to try to resolve some issues that have slowly developed with unresponsiveness and freezing. What process do I need to follow to ensure all of my apps, settings, and files crossover. Just run Titanium Backup on all apps and then use it to restore them after the flash?

I just found this absolutely ridiculous rom that enables the tablet interface on the Galaxy Nexus. Currently downloading it. I'll report back shortly. [Edit: I am not surprised in the slightest about this but the phone is almost unusable with the stock dpi. Attempting to make the dpi larger just reverts it to the phone interface. I guess if you really, really want to try out the bevy of tablet-optimized Android apps (snicker) its handy but beyond simple "Because it's there!" there is no good reason to flash this rom. That said I bet there's a hilarious YouTube video review to be made about "The World's Smallest Android Tablet!" ] asecondduck fucked around with this message at 02:42 on Feb 28, 2012 |

On the CM7 build my wifi would get itself to a state where it would disconnect about 10 minutes after boot and not connect to anything until I rebooted. The only fix was to wipe all the wifi configuration info.

Found a weird little thing going on in CM9. It seems when the screen turns off on my touchpad, the audio becomes incredibly distorted. Doesn't matter if I turn it off or if it goes off on it's own. After a quick check I can confirm it's only the Touchpad's actual speakers and not headphones. Those seem to be working fine. e: Whoops seems like this is a known issue. Well there's a bevy of apps in the market that can change DPI but the few that I tried just resulted in it falling back to the phone-optimized interface. Crosspost from the phone thread because I might get an answer here as well: Ok, so my Samsung Vibrant that I'm using on T-mobile (with ICS ROM) has decided to poo poo the bed. Namely the micro USB port is dead so charging it is impossible. I'm limping by because my wife has the same phone so I can do the battery shuffle but that's really inconvenient. Question: What's my best bet for an upgrade on T-mobile? I'd like to stay with ICS, either officially or not (as long as the ROM is stable). Any advice?

Just kind of an FYI for everyone else in here, this is a common problem for Android in general. Technically it does work but if you're having any type of WiFi problems the first thing you should do is lock your router to one or the other.

Flashing to the newest nightly of cm7 on my G2 made all the notification LEDs orange instead of green. I know it's spergy, but I like seeing the green LED when I have a notification. I installed lightflow lite to try to set this back, but my phone seems to be ignoring the settings I put in lightflow, even though I set up the accessibility options in the phone correctly.
