I'm pretty disappointed with most of the tabbys shown off so far at MWC. The Transformer Infinity is nice but beyond that not much else piques my interest. I was really hoping to see something about the Asus 7 inch tablet but I'm sure they'll end up telling us we all just imagined it.

Chances are I'll upgrade the Xoom to a Transformer Infinity for school this fall. While the whole PadFone platform looks really cool, I don't need a new phone for the time being. What would be cool is if Asus put out a Transformer Phone that wirelessly synced stuff between the Infinity and the Phone, so you get all the benefits of the Padfone concept but without having to only use one device or the other at a time.

Probably not unless you don't want to pay for Spashtop. The cloud thing could be done with dropbox (it is unlimited storage for 2 years if that matters) and the radio stuff looked bad. The storage cloud does have android phone and iphone phone apps along with the desktop clients

Just noticed the Samsung Galaxy 7.0 Plus just dropped $50 to $300 at Best Buy. The only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger is ICS. Do you think it'll ever get an ICS update?

Add in manufacturing and that's only another ~$7. That's a strong analysis, it's only missing the costs for Apple to design, distribute and market the iPad, the costs to develop the operating system, build retail stores, billion dollar data centers, and a couple other things that somehow lead to Apple's net margins being somewhere in the 23% region instead of 55%. That's only a 140% error though, so kudos, by IYG standards that's a bullseye!

Sure the international SGS2 should be well supported, but you can't say the same for the Galaxy R, or Galaxy S Advance or a lot of the other numerous variants. Same thing will likely happen with their tablets

So I got a new C2O Prime came back from ASUS from an RMA. It's currently on the charger and I'm going to leave it there for about 5 hours. There aren't any visible physical defects on it. The shipping box had a hole, about the size of a screw driver, in it on the top and the Prime's box doesn't have a snug fit like my other one did. I think they re-shrink wrapped it at the RMA center after testing it. I'm really hoping that they have eliminated the WiFi Antenna that they were using in the C1O I had and the earlier models. Over at XDA no one seems to have opened one up yet. Though here are some interesting things they are doing to get GPS and WiFi to work better( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1520642 ). Has anyone else gotten a C2O through either a purchase or RMA and what are your impressions of it so far? Edit: This is bullshit! The back light on the new unit won't turn on at all. I can see the word ASUS come up when I turn it on and the table gets REALLY hot on the bottom right corner while it is on. Luckily I am on the phone right now with ASUS and I just learned that they are going to pay for the tablet to be shipped back to them and I will get priority RMA processing. I think you underestimate Samsung's propensity for cranking out devices. They're already considering variants with stylus and I'll bet we'll see different chipsets too (isn't the 10.1 2 supposed to be Exynos?) depending on demand and what they can cram in the cheapest.

I know someone asked about it before, but I'm too lazy to find the post. The new Asus Transformer Infinity and 700 series will have keyboard docks, and my personal guess is that they will not be compatible with the older version keyboards from the OG Transformer or the Prime as the sizes are just slightly different (based on this comparison chart). I could be wrong, but I guess I'll be looking for a discounted keyboard dock now that the Prime is discontinued and the docks are only good for the Prime.

Slow night in YOSPOS? Jesus Christ. Anyone with a Google TV; check out Able Remote. It has really intuitive gesture support and voice command support. I haven't tested the voice stuff since I feel silly talking to inanimate objects, but reviews are favorable. The free version is good enough, but the pay version lets you edit button layouts and such. Not tablet native, but it resizes gracefully. I use the hell out of Evernote, but the "make notebooks available offline" feature won't automatically download attachments. Anyone know of a workaround?
