I'm having a difficult time remembering what song this riff is from. It's kind of sad that I can remember how to play it on guitar but have no idea what the name of the band/song is. Please excuse the poo poo sound quality. http://tindeck.com/users/jayho

Hi can anyone help ID this song please? I have tried googling the lyrics but failed miserably. I think its a modern remix of an 80s dance track, has female vocals and I guess the title is; Come to me I'm Ready. The sound quality is really bad, I just grabbed a few seconds of the track before it stopped playing, so the vocals are impossible to understand but the general beat of the song is ok. Sorry about that. Also Shazam failed too. http://www.mediafire.com/?74l7swsryqz2gp7 A mish mash of the lyrics include; come to me you know im ready lyrics when we first met i was mesmerised i couldnt beleive why dont you stop to see inside i want you love dont try to hide ive got a way to make just one thing i want you near come to me you know im ready in tight blue jeans Thanks in advance crazychicken fucked around with this message at 03:54 on Mar 2, 2012 |

There's a song I just heard recently that has a woman as the lead singer. It sounds pretty modern, and the chorus part ends with her singing Yeah (elongated) 4 times while a guitar plays a few chords as an echo. It's got a techno song, and I want to say one of the lyrics in the chorus is also "...between my feet". Anyone understand this?

I'm looking for a house edit/remix of "St. Elmo's Fire" by Michael Franks. I heard Heathered Pearls play it at a show back in July.

Please help me figure this out: The audio can be found here: http://soundcloud.com/golden-bug/golden-bug-washing-machine Starting at the 22.20 mark and ending around 25.40. I'm sorry I have to post a whole mix, but it's the only place I've ever heard this song. Golden Bug only lists it as 'white label' and in another place I saw him say it was a band named "Black Meteorit" (which returned no search results). He's French, if that helps. I transcribed the lyrics as best I could: ...hesitation ...hesitation they say your crazy you haven't done nothing yet no matter how hard you try they try to tell me that your coming for it unseasonable(??)... lies your phone calls at night never come off quite right your car across the street don't be bothering me I'd give it all just to make you go away from me you walk the streets with hesitation and i rock the streets, no hesitation I tried to think of what it was I had done for get up get up get up get up now I'm on the run I tried to put an end to this confusion so I got my gun and... your phone calls at night never come off quite right your car across the street don't be bothering me I'd give it all just to make you go away from me you walk the streets with hesitation and i rock the streets, no hesitation you walk the streets with hesitation and i rock the streets, no hesitation and youre on the run and youre on the run and youre on the run ... -- so... that's it! thanks.

What's that song that contained every word considered offensive by the FCC? It was a rock song. I'd like to say it's NOFX but I'm not sure.

An easy one but I've only seen the name once. It's an instrumental song that's been in lots of films but I can't seem to think of one right now. They're normally based in the 70s in America. Don't know how to type the music out, but the drums are throughout with one guitar (or maybe two) that plays three chords with the third one sustaining longer over time. Every now and again, there's an arpeggio from the notes. And how I still don't know the name is a mystery to me too.

I heard this one on the radio this afternoon. It's a maddeningly vague description, but hopefully it's enough. The vocalist could pass for a bad Jack Black impersonator. The most distinctive part of the song that sticks with me is the "wailing" made by whatever instrument it is, hell, it could be a high pitched singer, imitating Stairway to Heaven's riffs, at 6:26 and 6:31 in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0niLOyhCd5g It has all the makings of a late '80s song: indistinct vocals, synthesizer, and lots of mumbled "love"s. If anyone has an idea, I'd be much obliged.

That's a good guess, but not it. To describe the "wail" sound, it would be like Stairway, but in reverse. First descending, then ascending, into a guitar solo. FM radio and its lack of identification annoys me.
