Might not work from a privacy standpoint though as it seems the second device will have access to your other account stuff like mail too.

So, before I could at least launch the Market and update multiple apps at once, just not enter an app's page. Google Play force closes at launch. Excellent. Anybody know at which version they incorporated the auto-updater in the Market itself so I can downgrade permanently? 3.3.12 works fine, but it updates itself within minutes.

I've used PocketCasts for quite a while, but lately I've run into an issue on my GNex that I had on my Evo 3D: when output through an AUX cord to my car stereo, the program will often stop playing without any input. I've turned off headphone/headset controls in PocketCasts, and have a program called headset blocker that does just that one thing, but it still happens. Does anyone have any idea what's causing this behavior and how I can stop it?

This is a common problem with earlier versions of Pocket Casts. Do you have the Market version or the Amazon version?

I use keepass. It works across Android, windows and Linux. I keep the file in dropbox so I can access and keep it synched across everything. It is also free and I believe open source.

My wife and I have our own Gmail accounts, and then we have a family shared account that I use for Google Music, the market, and all other purchase items. When she had an Android tablet it worked pretty well, especially the Google Picture sharing.

We didn't want each others emails and all that on the other device, so that was the best solution I could think of.

This, this guy has the good solution. Because Google will let you have secondary accounts now, you can add a shared secondary account to your device and your sister's, and any apps you buy on the secondary account are accessible on both machines. If you leave Sync turned off for the second account on your device, you don't have to deal with any of the random emails it might pick up or anything. On the other hand, set that email account up to forward any Market receipts to each person on the shared account, so that both of you know when something new's been purchased (ie made available to download).

Obvious caveats: don't use the shared account if the Market starts offering porno, or you want to buy Ayn Rand/Ron Paul slashfic.

Yep. Though that now appears to have been largely determined by location. The Market issues began before I had data connection trouble.

It should be noted that it's the only app I have consistently force closing. A bunch of people on XDA had the same problem, but as far as I could gather nobody had found a solution. For now I'll have to uninstall updates and clear data and act quickly if I want to update my apps.

A quick question, is Contact Sync working for anyone with the official Twitter app on a Galaxy Nexus? Mine has had an error ever since I got it with "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly" at the bottom of the Accounts & Sync screen.

Is this just me or is it broken for everyone?

My inability to write has angered the ghost of Thunderdome! Beware my example, lest you be haunted.
I'm trying to buy a book but when I go to purchase it's telling me my credit card is not supported. It's the same credit card I use to buy all my books and apps from the market and I just checked with a few other apps and books and there does not appear to be a problem. Anyone have a clue what the issue could be?

On a related note, Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly by Anthony Bourdain is on sale for 25 cents if anyone else is interested. I've always heard very good things about this book. Would really like to be able to snap it up for this cheap.

Yeah, I haven't really messed around with Books much on the phone, but the readers actually quite nice. Fight Club and Kitchen Confidential for 25 cents brought me over to give it a try though. It's really nice how it syncs your position between the phone and the Chrome appstore versions.

Speaking as a guy who worked in kitchens for a long time, that book is solid gold, and really funny to boot. Everyone should read it. A quarter is a pittance.

We have some ThinkPad tablets at work and our sales reps would like to use them to give presentations when they're traveling. None of the apps they've tried have been very good at displaying powerpoint slides to an external monitor.
