Man, sometimes I miss being a stoned teenager and thinking things like that. "Man, if you get caught just tell the cops you're only selling it so you can afford to smoke it and they'll let you go. They all toke up anyway themselves, right?"

Being English, Seth and Jah having a go at the UK is pretty much my favourite thing ever, so I was loving this. Can anyone remember the episode (or approx.) where they go on an extended rant about the UK, the shittiness of the north and how everyone wears tracksuits? Favourite bit of this episode was how ashamed Seth was when he admitted to buying Beach Boys tickets and how disappointed, yet understanding, Jonathan sounded.

I actually don't think it's as bad as he makes it out to be because it's the loving Beach Boys with Brian Wilson, you'll never see it again. I'm going to get to see them at Bonnaroo and I definitely think they'll be a lot of fun.

I picked a really bad time to listen to this ep, I was driving in circles around a court parking lot for jury duty, and it took me like half an hour to park and I was just getting furious. You really gotta be in a real chill mood to hang with these fools.

I miss the long list of trivia that some stick-in-the-mud deleted long ago

quote:

  • Jonathan claims to be a vegan but is often seen eating cheesy Dorito snacks and various fish.
  • Crackerjacks are the official snackfood of the podcast
  • Before moving to Los Angeles, Seth had a job as a mailman in his home state of Massachusetts. He was notorious for forgetting to pick up from particular mailboxes.
  • Seth has been romantically linked to Jennifer Aniston and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai

Just spent a good 10 minutes talking to Seth on the phone after I left a message the other day. I highly suggest you call the message number. He's a very good conversationalist. Not an awkward moment between us despite not knowing him (well I guess if you listen through the archives and you hear some people talk for 300+ hours, you kind of almost know them, but whatever).

It's really heartening to know they haven't let their (internet) fame go to their heads. When I went to the Largo show and asked them for photos, they were incredibly friendly.

Is it really that internet popular? I mean I know the show gets a lot of downloads, but I don't think near enough that it could be going to their heads.

They've had several sold-out live shows, and people send them free stuff just because they're so awesome. Don't know about you, but that would certainly go to my head.

Yeah, I guess so. I always just picture them as people who had much bigger things in mind, a guy who drove cross country to LA and the son of a celebrity, so I would think that would keep them more grounded than most people.

I mean they even joke about it on the show. But yeah I agree it would completely go to my head.
