Ok guys, Atlus officially advertised this contest for Devil Survivor 2. http://www.siliconera.com/2012/03/10/how-will-you-survive-the-siliconera-devil-survivor-2-giveaway/ I personally entered with what I believe to be an instant winner, but only time will tell. To others entering, best of luck

In that case, a better question is: Are the NG+ point totals from the titles one-time bonuses, or do they apply with each new game? ie, will I have to do my next run better in order to carry over more things for run 3? EDIT: vvv Excellent. Maybe I'll be able to carry over more than a single Oberon next run, then.

Your trophies are cumulative. So any trophy you get is permanent and you'll have the points for any NG+ you reach after that.

The only reason to read forums like Atlus, XSEED, and NISA is to see all the crazy people who want these companies to localize dumb poo poo like Sengan Kagura, Gal Gun, and "Conception: Please Give Birth To My Child!"

So, is there any specific way to get Fate points for a character; for example, I want Io Fate Points, do I just hit up every single "This is an Io Event" marker, and it's cumulative until I get a breakthrough, or are there only certain ones that will give me points with her?

Can we not talk about creepy Japanese games that are only in Japanese? God knows there's an unlimited supply of those. Let's stick to the creepy Japanese games in English, like the ones where you fingerbang a robot girl, er, I'm sorry, "permanently stain her untouched core with your DNA", or date a high school girl who looks younger than the elementary schooler your character lives with, and generally callously pretend to get close to people just to make your Pokemon stronger.

I think actually you don't need all the events. Just some vital ones. Problem is, it's hard to tell which ones are more vital than others. I think. I have no idea.

Well, it has better characters and the gameplay got "fixed", but I still think P3 has the better story.

I felt P3 had the better story and characters, but P4 told its story and characters better. P4 had lame characters like Yukiko, Rise and Naoto, but it didn't make you wait three months for anything of substance to happen at one point in the game.

Both suffer from really, REALLY slow pacing, though. I hope the day-to-day thing is somehow sped up in P5, if it's brought back. I felt really, really bored in-between dungeon crawling.

Whack posted:Probably Persona 3. I'm kinda worried that by starting off with Persona 4 all the other ones will pale in comparison. People keep telling me it's the best one. Good choice! Speaking as a person who played Persona 3 (the PS2 FES version) after playing Persona 4, I don't really think that going backwards was bad at all, Persona 3 is still a fantastic game. The only problem is that you might end up in this loop: By the way, when you say "all the other ones will pale in comparison" do you mean compared to the other Persona games, or compared to the other Shin Megami Tensei games? Because they are different things (SMT is a series with many spinoff series, Persona is one of them) and it's very goddamn confusing if you've just gotten into it.
