This start looking to me like a case of the writer deliberately putting a theme in the books, and readers taking it literally as some kind of writer's endorsement, instead of writer's criticism. Beside the chuckles I think you're dragging this too far: like housewives in the sixties finding all sort of satanic messages in The Beatles songs. You're seeing monsters everywhere.

Xaro likes dudes but Dany's story from this point out would be even more visually boring than it already is in print if she didn't have legitimate non-Jorah sex possibilities. Though they could have moved up the Daario intro I guess. Some stories don't need romance or sex to be more interesting on screen (see: Arya, Theon). Others need as much as humanly possible.
