To the guy who asked which episode Seth reads a ton of This Week in Florida stories, punctuating each with "HEY FLORIDA!" it's episode 10, 20-25 or so minutes in. The first episodes are actually pretty great. I think the hardest I've laughed at this show was when Seth was doing an imitation of a customer who bought defective condoms at a dollar store run by a dude named Jimmy Wang, "Hey, snug fit on these Troj-dogs." Or when two Cholo Mexican dudes told a liquor store cashier who was loving with Jonathan, "Hey leave him alone!" "Yeah man! He's the love guru!!"

I've started the backlog and am loving it. Just hit episode 20 yesterday, and there are some great quirks of the early episode, including the hilariously bad "This Week in Florida" harmonic jingle that Jonathan put together. Craig's House starts in the 50's, right? Also funny to hear Jonathan plug his good buddy Zach Galifinakis on I think it was 18 or 19, certainly pre-Hangover fame.

Dropping back a bit- if you're looking for a fix to fill the You Look Nice Today shaped hole in your heart, check Roderick on the Line. I say this as someone who has listened to all UYD episodes. It's easily my favorite "two guys, no guests" podcast running currently. If you want You Look Nice Today to come back, you'll have to find a way to cripple Adam's filmmaking career. His unavailability is what basically stopped YLNT. UYD is definitely a dog whistle; some people don't get it and never will. My wife still calls them "those guys you listen to" after 3+ years. Since I have all the back catalog, I've always wondered how Jah and Seth would feel about putting up a huge torrent, like episodes 1-300. I mean it's already free- why not spread the love without them having to pay for the bandwidth? Also, I work for a CDN and I've often wondered if employees can do something like gift certain services up so some limit. I know we offered to run CDN for Raspberry Pi a while back for free.

A torrent like that would be awesome, especially for someone like me who picked it up in the mid 200's. Their opinion on the matter would probably depend on business model. They don't really have advertisers right now so I'm not sure. It seems like most podcasts, judging by stitcher hate, need to see the itunes download count increase or they feel like they are getting ripped off.

If you go to this page, you can use a download manager like DownThemAll for firefox to download all the episodes at once. That's a lot of bandwidth, but does feedburner charge per gig?

Ha, I didn't know there was a thread for this. Although I'd never seen this whole subforum before today, so... UYD is definitely one of my all-time favourite shows; it makes me deeply happy inside to hear how thoroughly Jonathan and Seth love each other and it's great to be able to share in that in some small way. And I have to say, I'd watched the #100 video and then nothing else until I ran across their Youtube channel recently and holy poo poo, Jonathan looks to have lost a shitton of weight since then. Times I knew UYD was right for me: 1) Episode #176 - practically wetting myself the whole way through. Go give it a listen. 2) First time dropping acid, then looking at my arm. Hairy logo made sense in an instant. I love this show.

So after that episode, it's apparent that the guys are going through some severe money troubles. I know it's not their steez but they really need to start whoring themselves out and go on other podcasts or something to boost subscribers. Or do something. I feel really bad

On the other hand he has always had drama about his phone. I think this was a case of Seth being himself about the Silverado and tires and Jonathan being aloof about his phone. I'd still donate or do a membership drive regardless, considering the over 316 hours of shows.
