Well this comic is getting several levels more meta than I expected. Kinda always heard of this thing but I only started reading it in march. I actually powered through Acts 1-5 in literally two days where I did nothing but read the comic (I seriously do not recommend this, I think I suffered some sort of brain trauma as the result of it) but what can I say this stuff is pretty gripping! I'm not sure what the perspective of hivebent was when it was happening but just tackling all of it at once wasn't that bad, really. I was kinda taken aback by how much the text chat idiosyncrasies of the trolls grew on me. Also I don't really have a problem with any of them, even the "joke" characters like nepata since they actually filled out the cast with enough character. But now that I'm caught up I have nothing to do but wait for more updates and speculate (or something because I totally did not see LE killing the author literally. Seriously if this actually impacts the plot then I will be pretty impressed in how AH changed a lame 4th wall gag into an integral part of the plot)

Wow, when the entire screen when black and with this whole layout, I thought it was going to be something serious. But then Hussie said "will" and I predicted the whole rest of it. I'm surprised he pulled out what looks like such a high-effort flash for such a small joke. Maybe the joke wouldn't have been as funny without the build up. Maybe this is just setting up for us the fact that such formatting could happen in the future so that we won't be shocked when it happens.
