http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal_%28video_game%29#Critical_receptionWikipedia posted:Portal's story has been stated to be well-established in the context of Erving Goffman's dissemination on dramaturgy, The Presentation of Self in Everyday Life, which equates one's persona to the front and back stage areas of a theater. In the case of Portal, the story carefully establishes the front stage, the pretense of the Enrichment Center, and hints at problems in the back stage through various technical faults, and then slowly reveals more and more of the back stage to the player throughout the game.[95] Due to this, the video game was made part of the required course material among other classical and contemporary works, including Goffman's work, for a freshman course "devoted to engaging students with fundamental questions of humanity from multiple perspectives and fostering a sense of community" for Wabash College in 2010 i wanna take classes with Professor Goon...

Virtual Reality researcher Mark Pesce argues,[1][2] citing research in Japan, Britain, and America,[3] that there is an adjustment period after watching simulated 3D during which vision is impaired, and that overconsumption of 3D content could lead to increased risk of accidents or even permanent impairment.[4][5] 5: 3459, rob (11 February 2010). Bill O'Riley is GENIUS posted:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal_%28video_game%29#Critical_reception i had a humanities/technical speaking prof (who also has a j.d.) who either referenced or was familiar with: -harold and kumar go to white castle (as an example of the hero monomyth) -they might be giants -a story where he barbecued pork (as a corollary to trial by fire stories & the phoenix myth) -snow crash -user psychology in the context of command-line versus graphical user interfaces (in the humanities class) -probably a bunch of other stuff i don't remember then he came to class one day in his full academic regalia, for a lecture about social conventions and how they influence people's perception and behavior. he eventually took off his robe & professor hat and kept lecturing (he had a nice suit on underneath). a bit later, as a student was launching into a long, detailed question, he begins taking his pants off. oh wait he has a t-shirt and jeans on underneath. i see wut u did there lol also i was next in line behind him in the men's room one day and when he zips up and turns around he's all "hey lutha!" so i respond "oh hey". then after i step up to the urinal and start doing my thing, he starts making conversation. "i haven't seen you for a while! what have you been up to??"

Recently[when?], a set of TCP/IP routines for QuickBASIC 4.x and 7.1 has revitalized some interest in the software. In particular, the vintage computer hobbyist community has been able to write software for old computers that run DOS, allowing these machines to access other computers through a LAN or the internet. This has allowed systems even as old as an 8088 to serve new functions, such as acting as a Web server or using IRC.[15]

Nowadays a sound religion might be rationally grown in a decade or two, via electronic communications. i guess wikibooks allows you to put whatever you want on it. also the java programming wikibook is poo poo

Alternatively, cooties can be immunized through one child creating a square using his or her index and middle fingers (making a peace sign in each hand and laying one on top of the other). The other child then pokes his index finger through the square, at which point he becomes immunized from cooties infection.
