There was a family that lived down the road from the house I grew up in. They didn't socialize their dogs and I think they didn't fix them either. they would routinely chase down me and my younger brother when we were smaller than the dogs. Also stupid because we were kids. there was another person in the neighbourhood that let their dog almost maul my brother because it was "playing" this is why I am nervous around dogs, and have a hard time finding them cute (especially when they're running towards me, even if they're obviously well socialized )anyways more cattes...

We always had outdoor cats and I still think it's better for the cats quality of life... but when I was a kid, we had 2 pitbulls that escaped their yard kill one of our cats in our front lawn early in the morning. My brother and I knocked on the owners door and told him what happened, and I don't think he gave two shits. His dogs got out again and killed another dog a few months later. gently caress dogs. e: just remembered that my dad may or may not have 'taken care' of those dogs after that. I don't think he ever gave me a straight answer on that...

trevor doesn't  like  the vet  Trevor's got some weird plaque growing over one of his corneas that's causing his pupil sizes to be mismatched and his vision less than clear. He's been referred to the kitty opthamologist. Trevor is really good at racking up specialist visits despite being an otherwise healthy 5 year old cat.

percy loves to hide in that exact spot in the vet's office. right below the guest chair where im sitting. he also sheds like crazy whenever we're at the vet.
