Yeah you're right..didn't consider all the associated irritating electronics that would need to go into it. It's amazing what can be done with an old SBC with a weekend and $1000. Remove the smog crap, install the parts I mentioned above, and you'll be close to 300HP depending on the block/pistons being used.
