900ftjesus posted:30 days. Not sure why that link is up, but Sprint's guarantee is now 14 days, new and upgrade, regardless of where you buy. If you return/cancel within 3 days with a new line you are not obligated to pay for usage or the activation fee, after day 3 you would pay for both. Jensen posted:So, I want the GNex next week. -Unknown, officially they don't but they off and on run promos where they waive it via online. Just check the day of launch I guess. -Buy it out at least 24 hours before launch so it has time to roll through. Otherwise, can't hurt to wait till last minute, depending on your contract you may save $5. -Not really. Buyback price is $100 currently, and you can easily still sell that for $200. For anyone switching to Sprint and looking to get a normal plan, I have some specific port credits I can offer for new customers this month. Feel free to PM me if interested. Sprint is launching a promo starting Sunday where new customers can get a $50 credit if they trade in their phone (on top of the buyback value and regardless of type of phone), at corporate and high level 3rd party stores only. So again, I cannot activate or work with EPRP directly, so if you don't qualify for a discount obviously EPRP is better. If it equals out with a discount, feel free to give me a shout. Will we receive the rest of the month back in the form of a check, or will she have to ride out the current month? So the way cancellations work. As per policy the line will cancel at the end of the billing cycle, even then its technically a suspension then 30 days after the suspension a script comes through to officially cancel the line. Call in a day or 2 before the close of your billing cycle to cancel the line. Port outs do not prorate back a credit. On rare occasions account services will cancel the day of request but usually its only if you argue for a while or because they messed up and didn't cancel a line and they were supposed to. I checked with both reps who helped me and they both said I wouldn't be billed effective tomorrow, plus the close of the billing cycle is the 20th so not too far, but yeah the rep specifically said that she is releasing the phone so that it can be used on another person's account immediately. Also, I just checked - the phone is disconnected from service already so I'm pretty sure its ready for someone else to use.

Ptrexitus is correct with the normal process of a cancellation. It pretty much always goes through the end of the billing cycle. The rep may have been smart enough to utilize the dummy esn tool to swap an esn with no phone attached onto the account.

I have an EVO 3D that I got back at it's release. I that puts me 12 months away from an upgrade and 14 months away from the end of my contract. What is the cheapest way I can get a Galaxy Nexus when it comes out next week? This is on a non-sero and non-erpr account.

What is the waiving of upgrade fees based on for Sprint? Whim of the employee? I've got a 5-line Everything Data plan that has been upgrade eligible since October. Considering we're out of subsidy range and that we barely use the services, I've got to believe Sprint has made pretty good money off of us since then. Does that play into it at all? Would be nice to skip the $180 upgrade charge...

I wouldn't expect to pay much less than $350 for the GNex after the sale. The GNex release could potentially drive the used sale price of the E3D down even further (but probably not by much).

I need a new phone, I have to give up my current original sprint Evo. I don't want to go back to 3g while waiting for LTE to roll out in the bay area. What is the best 4g wimax phone on sprint? I'm thinking either the samsung epic or the nexus S. The only thing I don't like about the samsung is it isn't on ICS. Wut do? Is anyone running an ICS ROM on their samsung epic? http://e4gtcm.blogspot.com/2012/04/cm9-alpha2-for-epic-4g-touch-now.html

GNex is $550 out of contract. If you bought an EVO 3D on launch day your contract buy out price is $165, so $365 total for the phone.

Why does it show 1.2 GHz for the dual core processor on the gnex? I thought we are getting 1.5 GHz? Anyways... tempted, but my TP2 is still running. I can hold out a few more months. Is a MicroSD slot and removable battery too much to ask?

I have a family plan with 2 lines (one is out of contract) and I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade to the Galaxy Nexus, the Evo 4G LTE (HTC One X), or hop ship and eat the ETF on one line to join my parents at&t family plan. Thoughts, suggestions or advice? For what it's worth I'm not in a projected LTE area for either sprint or att, but I am in an hspa+ area for att and the 3g speeds are kinda lovely on sprint. Yeah, this site has the dimensions of both side by side click. Looks like they're not EXACTLY the same, but very close. Not anything that would sway me to choose one over the other solely based on phone size.
