Minutes played at WC2010 (I didn't include injury time):

Jozy: 356 (he was subbed out in the 86' vs. England and played the full 90 vs. Slovenia, Algeria, and came out in the 91' vs. Ghana; Gomez played the added time)
Findley: 167 (he didn't play in the Algeria match because he got yellow cards in the first two matches. Good work, Robbie Findley)
Gomez: 85
Buddle: 39

IMHO, Gomez was the most valuable of the three. He pulled a statue of liberty against Slovenia, allowing Bradley to get that goal; he nearly had one vs. Algeria (and would've had the assist had the refs not disallowed Dempsey's goal).

Anyway, I'd be shocked if he weren't called up next month. Agudelo is injured and some of the other options (Buddle, Bunbury) aren't anywhere near the form Gomez is.

Nah, we'll probably call up more Germans who still haven't even debuted for their club teams yet.

You have a few players of note on the team. Cesar Ibaņez has been getting consistent playing time for Santos this year, Erick "Cubo" Torres in my opinion has what it takes to be a great, and has been getting plenty of time with Chivas. Diego Reyes of America has also broken into the first team and looks very promising. and Nestor Araujo who has already played and scored for the full Mexico team.

South Bend is kind of weird, from my understanding, because unlike Bloomington (and like Muncie) they never quite embraced being a college town. It sounds like the campus is kind of isolated and not really close to downtown. They have a wet campus though, so there's that.

Downtown South Bend is ghetto as gently caress, assuming they haven't gentrified the gently caress out of it in the past six years.

Anyway, with Columbus getting the Jamaica match, people like Wahl and Ives Galacrep are thinking that KC will get next year's USA-Mexico hex match.

I'm down as hell with that, given that I live three hours away, but they still haven't announced the location of the Guatemala match.

I read a recent interview where he claims he never said anything like that, and if he got called up he would be a fool not to go. I think he said he no longer considers himself a part of the USMNT because it has been almost 2 years since he was a part of the team.
