(Bonus shot of said demon dwelling. Don't stare for too long though... ) This weekend I passed a road called Whalebone Gulch. Post a funny sign. It can be a street, a business, whatever.

We have tsunami evacuation route signs. And one sign that says "no parking within 25 feet of this sign"

I have decided, when I take a trip across the U.S., Alaska is worth the extra miles it takes to get there. Missed the last challenge, but here is the photo anyway. The wonder caves are abandoned, but they are still on the P.O.I. signs on the highway. Me and a few friends have been spelunking in them a few times.

Okay then, if that photo is alright Legerdemain, please post a picture of your bike next to a diner. Bonus points if it has a shiny metal exterior.

Yes, you're good to go! What was that sign for, just a bit of street art?

# ? Apr 26, 2012 23:25 |

Excellent, thanks. Yeah, it's street art painted on the side of a building in Marfa, Texas, which is kind of an interesting place. I rode past the "Prada store" outside of Valentine today too, but I didn't stop. It's a mock-up of a store in the middle of the desert. Odd stuff.

I actually meant to get my face in there, as the look micromancer gives is a big part of the picture. When I went to retake is when it died, which in hindsight is probably a Good Thing.

I could have easily done this one but since I park my bike in a common area I wasnt too comfortable actually doing it.

clutchpuck posted:How do you like your Pelicans (threadjack!)? Perfect size to hold just about anything, and they make great frame sliders. They do accumulate cruft, though (old bottles of motor oil, mostly empty cans of chain lube, tupperware containers, shop towels, etc. etc. etc.). I need to replace the left one. It doesn't close all the way anymore after I dropped the bike on it at speed.

In an attempt to resurrect this thread I hopped on my bike, grabbed some lunch and then swung by a local playground to snap the picture and get things moving again. Unfortunately, my cellphone decided it was more important to save the last of its battery in case I received annoying phone calls from people I'd rather not talk to and was unwilling to sacrifice the last of its juice for the greater good. Give me a couple hours and I'll head back out and finish this so we can move on.
