Watched the old Sam Raimi movie Darkman while I was cleaning up my apartment. A couple of things noteworthy. Out of context, it's probably not a crazy bad rear end promo, but at the time it was awesome. From the Matt Hardy/Edge/Lita triangle thing. Hardy gets rehired after this angle was red hot, merging real life issues with wrestling. So, he proceeds to go out on Raw and cut the most boring, horrrrible promo ever in his return and almost kills the angle dead. I'd never heard of Joey Ryan before his 'Gut Check' appearance on Impact, but from what little I've seen he's too good for TNA. Hopefully this isn't an angle for that show and he eventually gets picked up by WWE sooner rather than later.

They have roughly 80-some episodes, from around 2010 or so up to the last month or two, I think. I believe Joey worked there both before and during the genesis of his "Legalize Sleaze" gimmick (there was apparently a period where he had a falling-out with the people who run NWA Hollywood, but that seems to have been ironed out). NWA Hollywood's probably one of my favorite North American feds at the moment (besides Joey, they also have Colt Cabana, Adam Pearce, Willie Mack, and many others). Just don't expect WWE-style or TNA-style production values.
