There was an advert on an old rollerblading video I used to watch when I was a kid that featured about 15 seconds of an electro-funk track (I'm guessing - not up on my genres). I could never figure out what it was called or who made it. Recently, while visiting my mum & dad, I found the video. I tried Shazam, but no luck. I recorded a clip and have uploaded it to YouTube to see if anyone could help: http://youtu.be/3drISk_PX3Y That's all there is. It starts with a voice saying 'Electrophonic funk-funk-funk-funk...' and then a squelchy track plays. Searching for 'elecrophonic funk' just finds a song by Shock, which isn't it.

I was at a friend's and people were playing Singstar. Most of these songs were awful, but one came up (which was a bad song but which had an interesting video clip) which involved an emo and an uptight straight-laced fellow in conflict, as they lived next door. At the end they exchanged girlfriends. Bad song, but I liked the video clip.

I heard a remix of Gotye's "Somebody that I used to know" tonight. It started off with an electric guitar (or what sounded like one) similar to "Sweet Child of Mine." And then went into a dance riff. The bass line in "Soul Surfing" by Fatboy Slim, is that a sample or did he do it? If it's a sample, would anyone mind identifying the song it's from? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nFFm0mQM1E

I figured it out on my guitar and just gotta know what it is: Just quoting myself from a billion pages ago because no one was able to help me with this and I FINALLY found this song, it's the one playing about a minute into the Google Glass video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9c6W4CCU9M4&listplcp edit: pulling up that old tindeck link, goddamn I had it note for note, too. This may be a tough one but maybe a fun challenge. In 2005 I drove across the country and XM radio constantly played this mix of "These Dreams" by Heart with rapping by the rapper Game. It's actually really good but I haven't been able to find it. I am 95% sure it was Game, as a few years back searching for it I found a message board where people were discussing it. Someone mentioned XM labeled it as "Dreams 80's Mix" but it's nowhere to be found

Request from a friend in Chile. He heard a song at theme park in Chile that he says has to have been from the last two years. He says the only lyrics he can remember are "something happening tonight" and "something gets you high". He says it has a female vocalist and reminds him of stuff that Rihanna and Nicki Minaj have been doing, specifically Minaj's "Starships". I gave him some suggestions of Cher Lloyd and Jessie J, and he says it might be by Lloyd. He specifies it's electronica-based.

Looking for a song. The chorus was a crew yelling something like "Stop! Breathing" with a little pause between stop and breathing, though it might be "feeling" or some other similar word. The band sounded a little like Grouplove and the song was on a playlist/radio station with bands like Depeche Mode, Death Cab for Cutie, and MGMT if that helps. Edit: Found it! Early 90s industrial/dance song, I'm 85% sure it's by Consolidated, there are samples of phones ringing, and it features the lyrics "I hate you telephone bells".

Ugh, it's a hip hop song... Possibly Wu-Tang affiliated. I just remember one line that stuck out to me, and is fascinatingly paradoxical Rough paraphrase: "I dropped out of school, that's when my education began" Thanks in advance!

OK, this has been bugging me for a while. It feels like an 80s song, kinda like OMD or a-ha or something like that. The chorus is something along the lines of (it's not The Who and might not be the real lines) 'Hear mee. Feeeel meee. Touch meeee. (with real lyrics of course) da naa naaa naaaa naaaaah.' and it goes goes something like this.code:

I need help identifying a song. My dad has an mp3 labeled as Track 28 by Dave Clark Five, but it seems is not by them. I'm having trouble identifying most of the lyrics as English isn't my first language but the chorus seems to be repeating this: "Universe of love, planetary peace" over and over. I'm having no luck on Google searching that with or without quotations. The first lyrics of the song are "Problems here, problems there", no luck either. Could somebody help, please?

Song is late '90s, early 2000s, poppy, sampling a very famous classical piece (probably Beethoven, maybe Mozart). Video involved a young white guy (the singer, I think) riding around a big city on a bicycle. One-hit wonder.
