That Catwoman cover looks like those awful Grimm Fairy Tale comics. It's like a Heavy Metal magazine reject or something.

I have the Stormwatch reboot collection and I will not be buying the next one (I also don't have a scanner)

The SFC comic is funny and a good take-that at the comicbook industry and the silly female poses. I'm not disputing that--I said it was overplayed since it gets posted a lot whenever anything remotely related to comicbook females is mentioned. Especially as it's just that: a joke, and hardly the solution or the witty commentary to end sexism. Posting it also ignores how it mocks the other side, too: A nice guy gets killed for respecting women, another is deliberately not sexually submissive and is aggressive like comicbook males (least I could do parody). So yes, it was funny at first, but now it's run into the ground, it's not as clever to whip it out as people think it is. Mister Roboto fucked around with this message at 19:01 on Jun 12, 2012 |

Guillem March is really a very good pinup artist. He knows how to draw women. He know about things like "anatomy" and "perspective" HOWEVER, drawing superhero comics does something to your brain and makes you produce things like the Catwoman cover. This is because superhero comics are almost universally poo poo.

That Catwoman cover is making its rounds and rightfully loathed but all of those New 52 bursting-from-page covers are awful. A cover should entice a new reader but those do nothing for me.
