Saturday I watched a really hilarious Korean movie called I'm a Cyborg, But That's Ok, about a girl who is committed to a mental institution because she believes she's a cyborg. I'm totally new to Korean film so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I absolutely loved everything about it. A big part of it is the somewhat shared fantasy world the inhabitants of the institution sometimes interact in. Here she acts out her mission, which she believes is to murder the staff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7K3uFG3lFg4 It's on Netflix with subtitles in English. I recommend it.

I think, personally speaking, that the reason why it's so hilarious is that the audio is muxed incredibly oddly. The instant the guy is shot the music cuts in, which is just so jarring as to be hilarious. The song choice isn't, I think, too bad (of course I'm speaking as someone who loves the song), and I think the cue would've worked if it was like most other music cues in TV shows with a slow audio ramp-up after the dude hits the ground. It would've helped too if the audience were able to listen to the background audio as the music cuts in- the thud of him hitting the ground, the ding of the telephone, etc. The only way to make catcopter video funnier: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GPTDox9GFk

What's that video, the title of it is "Balkan Beat", and it's two guys in the middle of the wilderness playing accordion and keyboard with very serious expressions. At the end, there's a high definition picture of Stallone in "Rambo". I've been going crazy looking for it.

It's loving impossible to watch a movie or TV show if there's someone in need of quiet elsewhere in the house because explosions and music are always 5x louder than dialogue and you never know when poo poo's gonna get loud for no reason.

I thought the video clip was slightly funny for the reasons you mentioned, but not so bad. I've never seen that show or heard that song, and thought they went pretty well together. Good death song. We're used to mismatched music, but it's usually done in movies with a budget high enough to be mixed well.
