I was kidding. I've never even checked the actuation number on my camera because if you're going to worry about that, then go back to film.

<3 killboy

I used to be a killboy fan as he was loosely a friend of mine, but as of late he's turned into a douche and a half. He straight up treats everyone other than his customers, aka locals, like poo poo because they aren't buying photos from him. If you aren't in his 'clique' you are literally ignored. Point in case, a friend of mine was helping with an accident scene that killboy was at, said a friendly hello to killboy and was absolutely ignored. Don't even get me started on how he acts with his competitors, specifically a close friend of mine.

The aforementioned close friend of mine does in excess of 30,000 shots in a weekend in the summer. Sometimes he's done 30,000 in a single day. Canon actually sends him cameras to test because of how much use they get.

Thats 2.8 shots per second for all 24 hours of the day. If true thats a lot of camera work.

You're going to have to show your work on that one because I come up with a very different number.

If you assume 24 hours of light to shoot:

30,000 shots / 24 hours / 60 min/hr / 60 sec/min = .35 shots a second or a shot every 3 seconds average. With burst modes and a lot of traffic, possible I think.

The internet is full of bad motorcycle content, from hipsters with DSLRs going crazy with blur cuts, to the likes of Wes Siler from Hell for Leather talking out of his rear end. So it's such a pleasant surprise to find something actually good. There is some Australian magazine that reviews gadgets but for some strange reason they also do bikes. They do a fantastic job with the bikes, their production values are as good as TV and the reviewer dude really knows what he's talking about. Check em out

Ducati 1198 Review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXwFacJdMf8

They've got a few more on the channel and I really hope they continue to do a lot more.

I saw this weird Sportster (?) thing at my favorite pizzeria the other night:

It honestly has me confounded. Straight pipes, chromed out, but also debadged with a cafe-style windshield. :psyduck:

Also (not pictured) I saw a rider on a sportbike last night dressed in full leathers and helmet. I was so shocked to see ATGATT in CT that I almost crashed myself! I'm assuming it was one of you, as the standard motorcycle uniform in CT is workboots, jeans, Harley shirt, and sunglasses (sometimes a Safety Bandanna/Do-Rag).

Ahhhh. Well that kind of cheapens it somehow. In my head I imagined the bike being ridden by a big bearded schizo that would mod his bike one way, only to have a change of heart the next day and half-change it up again.

Kind of like the motorcycle equivalent of Two-Face.

Not really the case here, but a lot of these folks are attempting (read: failing) to replicate the look of the late 70s XLCR factory cafe. Even Peter Egan still loves it, and he's not exactly a champion of things HD.
