Judging by all the nonsense that could hypothetically point to Jake becoming Lord English through some sort of shenanigans (prototyping a dreamself etc etc whatever) and how obvious it seems... well, it's obvious that it is the least obvious character. Liv Kiser is incubating in the Green Sun and will become Lord English. e: I rewatched that bunny flash. The greatest mystery in Homestuck (or loose plot thread) is why Dave touching the sword instantly exploded it. Did he not notice the rest of the broken sword? If Hussie ends up making a show, my bet is Frederator pushing him onto Cartoon Network. It won't be Homestuck though. There is no way he's going to continue using this universe. He'll be bored with it. The point of his story got told already (how a universe is created) and he hates memes and tropes, all of which are growing out of control here. The real question is whether he knows how to handle ending a story because, as of yet, he has yet to properly resolve a story. Problem Sleuth was it and even he hated how long it dragged on.

Hussie working on television, or nearly any non-comic thing really, would be interesting to see, because while Homestuck has shown he can marshal a team of talented people, he still keeps most of the actual production and especially most of the writing process to himself. Any other venture (aside from, say, a novel or book of poetry) would require him to release some control over his project to collaborators, which may happily curb some of his worst habits. On the subject of endings, it's interesting that according to the Q&A, even though Homestuck has expanded exponentially, Hussie's original plan for the ending remains mostly intact. Hmmm.

Doc Scratch said that the Condesce had to be recruited to 'reach the places that [LE] couldn't', namely the B-universe for whatever reason. Maybe this is because he was first created in that universe? Possibly! As for the rest a)the A1 trolls not being spawned in their session was the symptom of the subtle glitch, not the glitch itself, b)this resulted in them needing to scratch, in order for Karkat to finish the timeloop by creating them in A2, c)B2 exists 'after' B1, so their is no contradiction or paradox in their existence, d)there is no evidence that the B universe is feeling the effects of LE's glitch, e)if anything, it would be in the existence of Liv Kiser, since that required communication both before and after the Scratch. The B2 kid's existence seems 'accounted for' by Skaian standards, at least according to Rose's explanation. Also Aradia's explanation was of the creation of Doc Scratch. Could it also be of LE, since he was 'inside' DS? I don't know, but I don't think it's that simple. Also: Tavros had his symbol because he was using his power to get Tinkerbull to draw the symbols for him, since he couldn't reach. Dunno why Vriska had hers though, but I don't really think someone was mindcontrolling her, because then why wouldn't Tavros, Aradia and Terezi have the symbol on them as well? (Same with Rose and Jake with the MEOW and BARK codes).

A music stuck question: How does a fan group for a webcomic manage to put together something like "A Taste for Adventure"? It's really well done. And orchestral. I assume a bunch of people recorded parts and they were mixed but it really sounds like it was done by a professional orchestra. Or at least a very competent amateur one.

Now that I think about it, perhaps the kids are going to catch on to Lord English being originally created in the B2 or UU session and intentionally do it. Why? Two reasons: - Out-of-narrative, it would be a callback to Vriska intentionally creating Bec Noir so she could attempt to kill him later. - In-narrative, perhaps they could intentionally introduce some sort of defect into his creation that could then be exploited in the final battle. Just a wild theory at this point, though.
