Blue stripe in the middle :getin: the sponsor isn't too bad and the only bad thing (which bugs me the more I look at it) is why couldnt addidas juat have moved their logo over to the left a bit onto the white stripe and made the logo blue, would have looked so much nicer.

Do they even sell jeeps in Italy? I never saw any there. Maybe Patton was the last to drive a Jeep there.

They're looking to sell 125,000 Jeeps across Europe by 2015. It's the continent's fastest growing brand. Source: I work for Chrysler.

They didn't do it to follow brand guidelines, but likely just for visibility on TV. If anything that white box is breaking their brand guidelines. There's no way in hell that white box at that proportion to the logo is kosher in any other situation.

Brand guidelines are always basically thrown out the window when it comes to sports sponsorships.

There is literally no debate to be had. They cheated, they did not win those titles legitimately, and they have had them officially removed. They've won 30 like MK Dons have played in FA cup finals; have they bollocks.

The third star will not be on the official kit; just the writing underneath. The pic was to show that the supporters can purchase that one if they want. The players kits will have 2.

I apologize if this isn't the best place to ask but can anyone track down a site selling the 2012/2013 Slovakia jerseys? Legit or questionable knockoff, I can't seem to locate either. I'm in the US and figure maybe someone from a country that takes the sport more seriously might know of a place that has these for sale.

Ballers...I put numbers on the boards
Parma sew names of season ticket holders into new shirt

quote:

Fans of Italian club Parma have been recognised in a unique way by their club, after it was announced the name of every season ticket holder will be sewn into their new shirt.

Supporters of the Serie A side might not have had cause for much celebration last season as they missed out on qualification for the Europa League, finishing eighth in Italy's top flight.

But they appear to have been more than rewarded for their support after bosses revealed the new shirt for the 2012-13 campaign.

It features the names of all the club's season ticket holders, with the identities shown in grey on the traditional white and black kit.

Parma executives might just have made a shrewd decision to honour their fans in such a way, with many likely to purchase the shirt in order to spot their name.

However, they are not the first club to use their matchday attire to recognise the role of their most committed supporters.

Spanish side Alaves did exactly the same thing when they designed a commemorative shirt for their Uefa Cup campaign in 2000-01.

On that occasion, the shirt served them well as they went all the way to the final of the European competition, where they lost a dramatic match 5-4 to Liverpool.

I still think adidas is using the trefoil as "lifestyle" stuff and the three stripes for "performance." There's some Timbers stuff that's got the trefoil, but none of it is player on-field wear, practice gear, etc.
