So when they heard "Tonight: Steve Austin versus Bret Hart", they thought they were hearing the same thing as "Tonight, Steve Austin will 'verse' Bret Hart". I have also heard a fair amount of adults do this.

Yeah I looked into that and apparently twitter has started tailoring trends to what you and the people you follow have been talking about or something. Switch it back to worldwide and there's no wrestling stuff on it.
