Clannad  End of Evangelion  Fate/Zero was the most homoerotic series, swear to god. Somebody's probably made this gif before, and better, but I wanted to try my hand at the whole gifmaking thing. Pulled the frames out of an mkv with avidemux, put them back together as a gif with Photoshop CS 6. Any tips for getting filesize lower are welcome. I tried to make the drop as long as possible while keeping the file itself under a megabyte. Source is Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro. Edit: Whipped another one up real quick, can't quite seem to get this below a megabyte. I'm not sure if Photoshop does this automatically or not, but can I cut down on the size by 'freezing' the redundant black space so that it's not reloaded each frame?  This one's from FLCL. I actually made a short tutorial for making gifs in Photoshop a few pages back. Here's a link to the relevant bit about getting the background to be solid to cut down on file size. I don't know of any other way to do it in Photoshop. I find that this helps a lot to cut down on file size in gifs because this helps facilitate the transparency that gets done by making the background exactly the same on each frame. Much as I love this gif, it lacks the awesome lead-up to this. Batou challenges the Major to a sparring session, puts his dukes up. The Major just stands stoic and calm, then suddenly hits Batou with...an uncharacteristically girly smile. Caught off guard, Batou then has his body hacked and gets a chin full of his own fist.
