I don't think we know the details yet, although by the sounds of it, Warner Brothers isn't planning on including the original polarized version for their classic 3D movies currently being restored so I wouldn't get my hopes up for Universal to do it differently.

Both Creature and Dial M will be polarized 3D Blu. Just as they were shown originally.

Oh poo poo, Dial M for Murder is going to be in the original 3-D? That's awesome. I can't wait to see it. Of course I have no idea when I'll have the money to drop 200 bucks on a box set, but these are just details.

Oh man whaaaat. I totally would not have bought 1 and 2 if I had known they were gonna release this and then put it on sale.
I mean I guess it's only saving like $30, but still, I'd love that box.

I wouldn't have bought the season sets individually at $50 each then.

It was a good deal at the time. I've gotten more frugal since.

So is it me or are we getting a loving ton of bluray boxsets this year?

I can think of: Horror classics collection, Bond collection, Hitchcock collection, Indiana Jones collection and I'm sure there's more.

If I had my way I could easily spend a grand or more on blurays this year...

I want to know which designer (or suit) thought that adding the 'Welcome to...' would make it look good. It doesn't, it looks loving dumb.

Glad Universal are adding those tacky 100th Anniversary banners, reminds me of how terrible discs looked when the HD formats first launched.

Bluray player adoption must have reached some kind of threshold last Christmas or something, because you're right, it seems like we're suddenly getting an onslaught of back catalog stuff this fall.
