I agree that racetracks should have better liability protection but to say that people should be allowed on race tracks with cars as unsafe as the ones in the video is pretty stupid. Id love to seem some amateur production based race car series too but a bolt in 4 point bar and helmet cost what? Less than a set of slicks and wheels?

This is more of a request than anything, but I figured it belonged in this thread. I'm loving the documentaries that have been posted, since I'm new to the whole car-guy thing, and wondered if there were any other particularly good documentaries floating around that would be kind of "required watching" for motorheads, in the vein of: This documentary on F1 in the 70s: http://www.streetfire.net/video/1970s-f1-champions-forever-part-1-of-2_647105.htm http://www.streetfire.net/video/1970s-F1-Champions-Part-2_647285.htm Or this one about the turbo revolution in F1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbB1qwhKaaE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqfVAGOaGEc Or this one about the golden age of NASCAR: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtGs8WOXxT0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hi4egn7bWBk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHxSxvrtHhk The Clarkson specials are hit and miss, but still pretty fun as well, and there's that fantastic doc about Group B rally floating around somewhere (I think CatTerrist posted it at least one time?) Anyway, anyone have suggestions?

It only gets a little stupid is when someone decides that they're going to take something that is designed in inches and draw it in metric, so you end up with a perfectly logical 1.010"/.990" tolerance window noted as 25,65/25,15, or do the opposite and start deciding that a 10mm shaft is actually .394" diameter and so on.

Not saying that people should be driving like that but I loving hate people standing on the sides of roads yelling at cars. Do you honestly think screaming "Stay in your lane dick head!" is going to make someone in an M5 stop doing that? I passionately hated people telling me to slow down while I was delivering pizzas in residential neighborhoods. They are the same people who would ask for free pizzas if it was delivered to them late. Driving vigilantes piss me off. Also people who put "SLOW DOWN WATCH FOR KIDS" in their front yards. That's what backyards are for and tell your stupid rear end kids not to play in the streets and watch for cars. Woah im all pissed off, lets cool off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGjuBF_t1cE
