Any advice on how to spend my hard-earned cash in Dead Trigger? I'm level 11 and level 12 allows me to upgrade the AK, but that would pretty much wipe out my funds. Is there something better to upgrade/wait for? Also, the Remington reload is poo poo. Reload 4 shells regardless of how many you fired? Come on...

I just won 80 gold in the slot machine in Dead Trigger. Bought the M4 thing with it. Seems good. I'm failing to see why anyone would spend real money in this game.

Since they were apparently too lazy to include multitouch support for FF3, it doesn't really shock me that they aren't even trying to include appropriate screenshots. coyo7e posted:And the reviews: How does Square's porting these games affect rules on just recommending using an emulator? I suppose you don't get the updated graphics, and you have to fiddle with a third party program, but it seems like they still provide a better experience. I would pay the price they are asking instead of just use an emulator if the games got a proper mobile device treatment with the new sprites, full intuitive touch controls (an on screen D-pad and buttons are probably still necessary, but combat could really be improved with touch), decent bug fix updates, and maybe even a party pvp system (I think the DS chronotrigger had this). That would actually be brutally awesome, and I don't think it's too much to ask considering I (and many others) have already purchased FF games on multiple systems already.

Yeah, I have a policy of not spending actual cash on any games of this nature by virtue of my being poor as poo poo. I upgraded the AK which left me broke but luckily it has turned out to be a good investment. I've got 42 gold which I may invest in one of the British machine guns or a Winchester to go the cowboy route. My theory on many of these games is that they rely on you making poor decisions with your upgrades, requiring you to either reinstall or shell out cash to make up for it. I don't like doing either (I've hit a wall in Strikefleet Omega, for example, because I bought and upgraded heavy mining craft and have no bombing capacity; now there are large enemy ships with shields, my artillery is useless and I can't afford to even begin building up a bomber fleet).

You realize you only need bombers for the carrier and the siege craft right? The middle sized use interceptors. I found carriers and siege such a non-threat I didn't upgrade bombers until after upgrading all mining, interceptors, and fighters to max. Bombers take down the big things down so quick you don't really need an upgrade. Watch next time to see if your bombers are getting killed or firing at the wrong target. I found best was to have your bombers just idle right around their ship until you need to send them somewhere and then send them with a flight of fighters if there are fighters in the way. TLDR: The first bombers should be fine they dont need an upgrade nearly as much as fighters and interceptors. And ignore artillery except for getting the megacreds to upgrade the paid for mining ship.

That's only one building so I'm not sure if they are very uncommon or I just haven't been in the right places.

I don't know where you live, but here in the UK pretty much all buildings have the bottom floor as 'Ground Floor', then 'First Floor' etc. Just depends where the developers are from.

There may be some better games without tilt in the title, but I'll be damned if I've seen them.

Pix'n'Love Rush, probably the best iOS platformer, has been ported to Android. Its probably one of the best ports I've seen, with only three issues: 1. The unpacking thing is does when you first boot is is ugly as hell, 2. It shows ads for other games by the same company every time you launch it, and 3. my Galaxy Nexus's screen is so much bigger than my iPhone 4's screen that my muscle memory is loving me over and I keep missing the "buttons". That said I'd say its worth the $2. Now all I need is for someone to port The Incident to Android and I'll be totally happy. Hell I'd be okay with a knockoff version.

The unpacking screen is ugly as sin yeah and the ads are a bit lovely since it's a paid game.
