BTW, I did mention earlier that when I had left the last Expansion Cup due to some RL bullcrap that was finally taken care of, I'd see if it was okay to return with the same team once my real life stuff was taken care of, as I thought it would be dirty pool to pick a whole new team. Since I'm back working and feel better about lots of stuff, these were the teams I had for the Vice City Goose Eggs: Teams Selected: 1985 Toronto Blue Jays (3) 1921(will be replaced with 1922 pending league approval) St. Louis Browns (2) 1958 Detroit Tigers (2) 2008 Colorado Rockies (2) 1983 Texas Rangers (1) Fortunately it seems none of them are on the list of teams, and none of my players were taken in the dispersal draft. If this is not okay, I will wait until I'm the final team and grab whatever is left. However, since the 1922 St. Louis Browns are available, I will take them in place of the 1921 Browns since the rosters are the same. Again, only if that is fine with everyone. In the early days of the Super League, Smasher Dynamo was visited by a man who claimed to be from outer space. A planet of rock and roll, to be specific, where disputes were settled by awesome jams and only the grooviest could thrive. Smasher knew immediately that this "spaceman" was just the sort of lunatic that would make for a perfect Super League owner. The Goog accepted the invitation graciously, and built a team that, for being put together by a psychopath who insisted that he subsisted on nothing but the power of rock, was actually quite good. His Great Googly Mooglies were among the very best teams in the Super League, but they were bested by the Framingham Fillies, and missed the playoffs. This was before the days of the Gauntlet, or of guaranteed advancement; by missing the Super League playoffs, the Mooglies were cast out of the Super League. The Goog returned for Super League III, insisting that he had found a way to make his Mooglies even Greater; this version, however, was a pale imitation of the original Great Googly Mooglies, and they were relegated in their inaugural season. The Goog's second attempt at reclaiming glory came in the form of the London Calling; though they boasted an impressive offensive assault, the Calling were relegated as well. With the relegation of the Calling, and the humiliation that befell the Greater Googly Mooglies, The Goog took a long sabbatical from the Super League. Some say that he returned to his home planet, Googopolis; others say that he just picked up an extra shift at the record store. Regardless, he was not seen for many months. Many thought he was gone forever, but their fears--or perhaps their hopes--were not realized. The Goog returned, appearing before Smasher Dynamo just as he had at the very beginning, insisting that the Great Googly Mooglies would return for the newest season of the Super League! There's just one small problem: I can't remember the actual makeup of the roster for the life of me, and Google is being less than helpful in finding it. Hopefully Smasher has it on file...somewhere. In the meantime, read EVEN MORE about the Mooglies right here!

Okay, let's try this again: Here's the thing. Most of the current owners are going to get relegated, and that's a bummer. For that reason, if at least five owners decide they want to work together to build a new expansion team, I'll let it happen. But wait, there's more! These owners will retain an ownership interest in the new team even if their current team survives into next season! Why do I do this? Because as entertaining as it has been to watch you guys try to destroy each other, I'm pretty sure watching you work together would be even funnier. So, let's make this happen.

I like your use of the 1991 Astros, Koop, a lot of good young names there, and maybe we can incorporate them into the final product. That said, I hate your pitching. My offering, with help from CVE: St. Paul Bearers 1919 "Black" Sox (4) 1967 Red Sox (3) 2012 Nattinals (3) C 19 Ray Schalk/ 12 Wilson Ramos (not a strength, but Schalk is a Hall guy with great defense) 1B 67 Carl Yazstremski/ 67 George Scott (Yaz! and Scott can also play 3B) 2B 19 Eddie Collins/ 67 Mike Andrews (Collins is amazing, Andrews has utility) SS 67 Rico Petrocelli/ 12 Ian Desmond (Solid, not spectacular) 3B 12 Ryan Zimmerman (good quality dude) LF 19 Shoeless Joe Jackson (great average, really sets the table) CF 67 Reggie Smith/ 19 Happy Felsch (Reggie is young but great, Felsch got banned from baseball but had a strong career) RF 12 Bryce Harper/ 67 Tony Conigliaro (wunderkind, hope he rolls well; Tony is just a 5th OF) SP 12 Stevie Strasburg SP 19 Eddie Cicotte SP 19 Red Faber SP 12 Jordan Zimmerman/ 12 Gio Gonzalez (whoever rolls better - other is long reliever) SP 67 Lee Stange CL 12 Tyler Clippard SU 12 Sean Burnett SR 67 Sparky Lyle (lefty killer) SR 67 Dan Osinski MR 12 Edwin Jackson (born in Germany, CVE!)

The Goog posted:Are incoming expansion owners eligible to have an ownership stake in this second community team? You know what, what the hell, sure. But, I'm capping the corporate teams at two or three depending on if we get any more individual owners.

Also, an update on the ownerships of the corporate teams: The St. Paul Bearers (maybe) 1. Bruzer 2. ForeverBWFC 3. CVE 4. kw0134 5. Koop 6. Viscount Slim Koop has voted yes on his proposal for team construction CVE and Viscount Slim have voted yes on Viscount Slim's proposal. The winning proposal needs a majority, so four votes. The Pungry, Pungry Pippoes 1. Pungry 2. The Goog (probably) 3. TKBomber7285 This team needs three more owners before it becomes viable.
