My specs seems to go through roof in systemrequirementslab.com so I think I'm fine. Either this is truly the most punishing game of all time or I have a really frustrating problem. My game completely freezes whenever I'm hit or take damage. If I manage to dodge that skeleton's arrows its fine, but the second it lands one my game freezes. I'm not even able to exit the game via task manager, I have to do a hard reset of my computer before I can play again. Has this happened to anyone else?

Ugh, just summoned two guys to help take down Gaping Dragon. Right in the middle of an awesome fight both of them got booted for some reason. That's never happened to me on PS3. Probably GFWL related.

Not really worth it, being that you really won't get to see it happen and there's no way to be sure it ever did.

Anyone know how to remap the buttons on a controller to match the PS3 layout? I am used to the PS3 version and would like my Logitech controller to act like a PS3 controller not an XBox 360 one. Example would be to remap the lock on function to the right analog stick's click action instead of clicking on the 'Start' button on the Logitech controller. Just an FYI, the game seems to run smoothly using dual 6970s.

The 360 layout is actually identical to the PS3's, since stick-click is also lock, and as far as I know the only difference is in how you emote. Apparently the Logitech one is doing its own sort of weirdness.

Is anyone NOT using the resolution fix and running at 1920x1080 or something? I don't even intend to use it, since I'd be running it on my TV anyway, so when people report bad performance or bugs is it always because of that?

^^^^I'm not using it, it looks fine to me with the AA off. Man, the game is still loving great. Astora's Straight Sword +3 and the Wolf Ring rocks socks in the Parish I noticed it periodically dips to 28 or 29, but a solid 30FPS all other times. So when should I unhollow? I've found humanity and junk around the starting area and am slowly learning that X is flask and not attack (loving X button you killed me again  ).

Yes I am number one. Also I haven't made it to Sen's Fortress yet. I've been too busy helping players kill Quelaag so I can take humanity from doing that and giving it to Quelaag's sister.

Sometimes it seems like I look up at my humanity counter and I have an extra one without using a solid humanity or defeating a boss or anything. Is there a random humanity drop in this game? Also I just died and lost 2 humanity, should I even sweat?

Any area that hasn't had it's boss defeated has a chance for enemies to drop some liquid humanity straight to the counter, up to 10 per area. Also nah don't sweat it. Humanity is actually pretty plentiful if you know where to look.

Man, this is great. Brings back so many memories of release day. Lots of new people, but I'm also getting summoned by people that are obviously experienced. Lots of starting equipment, no outlandish elemental/mask/BB stuff yet. Everyone just chilling out and killing monsters.

Decided to go with a Dual Shielder build for my first DaS PC character. So far it's going pretty well. Just beat the Capra Demon on the first go, and I'm already at the point where I can tank Havel's two handed swing twice before I'm out of endurance.
