I always assumed they left in him saying Make it good because that was Dusty's character's kayfabe way of saying "You drat well better hope you get this right, because otherwise, I will gently caress you up".

Actually, now I think about it, I do believe that's exactly what he said in an Crockett interview about the incident. But I remember at the time that people were pretty sure the ole carny code had been broken. Still was another great moment in what I still think was one of the best feuds of all time, and it went for years as the different players rolled in and out.

Just had to help out Ric against the Russians, eh Dusty?

So I saw this video a few weeks ago about science poo poo. Mainly
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yrZpTHBEss

I love this type of poo poo, but in the back of my head, ever since I saw the video, I've been having this nagging feeling that I've heard the guy somewhere before. For weeks, literally. I just COULD NOT place that voice.
Finally, today, I realized.
He talks exactlylike Quack in Promo Form.

Yeah it was pretty much Dusty sneaking in one more chance to put himself over, even as the Horsemen were about to do horrible things to him with a baseball bat. That era of NWA was awesome in many ways, but the way literally everything revolved around Dusty Rhodes can be rather grating to watch.

He's a cool dude, but I'm sick of the merchandise argument.

Just because they're buying your stuff right now doesn't mean they wouldn't buy someone else's if you went heal. In fact it would probably have a long term positive effect in getting younger kids to branch out and find other superstars to cheer or boo.

Someone who buys merchandise at a live event is probably going to spend that money anyways, I don't think John Cena needs to be a 80's monster face to get those dollars for WWE.

The way I see it is that the Rock and Punk are both selling maybe one T-Shirt for every person who's buying their merchandise. Cena however is selling a T-shirt, two armbands, a hat, the John Cena lawn gnome, licensed Cena Jorts, a Cena livestrong bracelet, a dogtag necklace.... for every person buying his merch.

That's the way I see him getting boo'd out of the building and still selling the most merch.

They have other stars to cheer. CM Punk, Sheamus, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Triple H, etc.

For much of his run at the beginning he was on equal ground with Batista but was much better at moving merchandise.

Fact is he's the best at two things: 1. Moving Merchandise and 2. Creating new fans. It's the same thing with a sports organization (NHL fans would know this best) placing a team in an area where they isn't many fans of the sport. It's all about growth. The only fans Daniel Bryan and CM Punk are creating are people who were just jaded on the WWE product and are now maybe going to buy one WWE t-shirt instead of spending their money on more CHIKARA DVDs. John Cena creates new fans that if when they do turn him, if they don't do it correctly, it might lead to all of those fans no longer watching the WWE at all. There's a lot of Cena fans out there that are not WWE fans.

Besides, with how much the WWE fumbles at heel turns and creative decisions, why the hell would anyone want them to attempt a John Cena heel turn? It'd probably go over almost as well as the Goldberg heel turn.

Marduk is Bob Sapp, Nathan Jones and Goldberg mixed together.

Armor King did have a bunch of moves that King didn't like the poison mist, handspring elbow, Screwdriver, scissor kick, etc.

Cena didn't make any of those arguments in that video. He didn't make any arguments or points, actually. Not a single one. He merely stated the facts and called them rear end-backwards.
