There are plenty of examples of supposedly right-leaning/conservative/stupid pundits who turn out to be well-educated leftists putting on an act (eg. Glenn Beck, Larry the Cable Guy, Stephen Colbert in a manner of speaking, and I theorize Ann Coulter is one too). But are there any examples of the opposite? Highly publicized pinko commie bleeding-heart hippies who turn out to actually be fairly white-bread socially conservative moderates?
