So we got a brief write-up in the Dallas Morning News arts blog. Apparently it may appear in an expanded form in print, but they're not sure yet. http://artsblog.dallasnews.com/2012/10/welcome-to-night-vale-eerie-witty-podcast-has-texas-ties.html/ Additionally, Jeffrey and I will be appearing on Brooklyn's Newtown Radio (newtownradio.com) from 9-11 pm this Thursday to talk about Night Vale, and we're going to bring along some Night Vale clips, a couple created especially for the appearance.

I am absoutely loving this podcast. It's production values are through the roof and the writing is top notch. Keep making more. Go, go now.

I have been seduced and treated to strange, confusing new feelings by Cecil's dulcet tones, just as surely as the population of Nightvale has been seduced by Carlos' perfect locks. Please don't stop.

Reminder that tonight my co-writer and I will be on Brooklyn's Newtown Radio from 9-11pm talking about Night Vale. There will also be a bunch of Night Vale clips, a brand new Night Vale intro we made just for the show, some of Earwicker's music, and a bunch of spooky Halloween music in-between. https://www.newtownradio.com and if you miss it, it'll be available to stream here tomorrow: http://totalcontrolradio.com/tagged/episodes

I downloaded all nine episodes last weekend and have loved every minute of it. Nice sneaky sample of Fleet Foxes in episode 2, by the way. Also: oh god, Danny Schmidt

Here is the archive of Night Vale's appearance on Newtown Radio. It's mostly unrelated music and clips from the podcast, but the new intro we created for the appearance is at 9 minutes and 30 seconds, and the two sections where Jeffrey and I talk a bit are at 52 minutes and 2 hours and 3 minutes. http://soundcloud.com/newtownradio/total-control-10-25-12

I just want to say that I love the podcast. That's all. Love it. Oh, and this is actually unrelated to the podcast, but a while ago I ordered a couple of books from Commonplace Books. My copy of What It Means To Be A Grown-Up was damaged, so I sent an email suggesting that you review your shipping practices and you sent me a new copy without me asking for it. So I want to say here where everyone can see it that that's very cool of you and I appreciate it. Also the book of unused HP Lovecraft ideas is great.

New episode is up. My insistence on having an ampersand in the title temporarily crashed our entire feed but that's fixed now. https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/welcome-to-night-vale/id536258179 http://feeds.feedburner.com/WelcomeToNightVale Also, to join the TV Tropes page, there is now apparently a Night Vale wiki http://nightvale.wikia.com/wiki/Night_Vale Finally, I have made it on the internet.

Oh, hello again thread. This week's episode was something that I spent many hours writing/editing/producing, and I'm really proud of it. I wanted to see how much we could stretch our format to tell a completely different kind of story. Also there is some major setting up of larger storylines, although not all of it is immediately apparent. And the weather was recorded live on an NYC subway platform, so that's cool too.

Adding my own "Just want to say that I love this podcast" post. Gets me through those long days working at the book crematoriu... library. I said library. Is there somewhere that has convenient links to all the of the musical artists featured so far? I never remember to write them down when the websites are mentioned at the end of the episodes.

Len posted:I hope everything is alright in that bowling alley No, there is no specific end date in mind. We're all having a lot of fun making them, so at the moment we have no plans to stop. All three of us (2 writers, 1 voice) are often busy with many projects at once, so it's possible we might need to take breaks in the future, but I think we'd all like to keep going with it as long as it stays interesting. Oh, speaking of other projects, I should probably mention this. We're making a Night Vale book and we're looking for submissions Writers: Click here. Artists: Click here.

Cool, one question, where does one submit their stories? On that site or is there a email addy? Or do I knock on the south most wall of my house and whisper it into the ear of the bear?
