For anyone who might be worrying about this, Discotek doesn't want to dub anything. I like the newcomer AD Matsui already. He's definitely more cheerful than AD Itou.  From the Game Boy showcase in the Pulseman episode: I rewinded to watch this and laugh so many times that I made a gif out of it.

That GCCX porn looks so awful even for porn. (I know it's a bit late to comment on that one,but I had to) I'm glad that Discotek is keeping the original audio, I don't think I would enjoy the show without hearing Arino and Kan's voices. A big part of what makes this show great is the staff themselves and removing their personality and voice would be terrible. I know I will buy the DVDs regardless if they are online for free. You could also remove them as they become available too. They'll still be floating around,but won't be accessible from here at least.

Correction: all the Japanese fans were saying the next episode hint was "PS" so that's what I posted, but it turns out the King flat-out says "the next challenge is on the PlayStation." Sorry about that. But hey, another PSX challenge. I'm excited!

I'm really interested to see what game it is. I think Densha de Go! is the only playstation game they've done that wasn't some form of dating sim/choose you're own adventure game. It'd be interesting to see a new genre!

And even if an episode that wasn't subbed by SAGCCX eventually got put on an American DVD, the same people who would have just downloaded the sub instead of buying the DVD would just download the DVD rip instead of buying the DVD. I say don't worry about an episode stepping on the toes of an official release until it's actually licensed, then just yank it like with the Kotaku 12.

I look at GCCX the way I do anime: If I watched the fansub and enjoyed it, and said series/episodes get released in the U.S., I buy them. Apparently it's a rather old-school, antiquated way of thinking, but it was prevalent when I first got into anime in '95. It also resulted in my acquiring a fairly large DVD collection over the years.

I purchased the DVD set & only watched the shiren episode, no regrets. I'd get another set even without an exclusive just to do my bit supporting something worthwhile like this. There are plenty more people out there who do this sort of thing. That's great there's a ps1 challenge coming up. SOTN is a bit easy but could be alright, DoDonpachi has a button for slowdown so I'd assume he'd abuse that. I'd rather see Meta-ph-list for a ps1 shooting challenge due to its 'unique' features. I reckon The Adventures of Little Ralph, The Rapid Angel or Umihara Kawase Shun would make alright challenges.

I honestly only bought the DVD to support the show, I think its the first physical media that wasnt a book that Ive bought in years. Id really like to get the episodes ripped and in the same naming scheme as all the rest of my collection. Also, Tv Nihon did the Far North Travelougem but its split into 4 parts, id really like to join those four videos into a single one, what program could I use to do that?

The real pros re-edit the Travelogue back into the special episodes they were used in.  (Actually, zari-gani, when we get around to redoing that I think we'd be better off using the DVD version. Cleaner image than what's going around and it's more smoothly edited together.) I found an error in one of the episodes that we translated and it's a bad one. Not on our part; this one is on the Game Center CX side. In the Koei episode, season 1 episode 2, they say that Arino played Angelique Trois for 13 hours. In fact, he played it for three hours. I've checked a few sources on this. Could this be the mistake that got AD Yamada sacked? Or is it just Kibe slipping up again?

The frame rate is off and there are some weird bugs with the chaining that don't work like how they are supposed to.
