Sammie as a puppy. He still has that look on his face when he gets irritated you do not understand what he wants. I swear he acts more like a cat than a dog.

My fiance's favorite bear, a leftover from her childhood - and now clearly belonging to our cat. Here is Eris looking incredibly smug, picture as taken on my lovely cell phone camera. There are many other bears like it but this one is hers. (She has miraculously not destroyed the hand knit sweater my fiance's grandma made for it, which is amazing given her usual reaction to yarn is to steal it from cupboards and eat it as per:) That yarn was in a closed cupboard, and it was all in one piece. We came home to find she'd gnawed some off and was dragging said strand around the house in her mouth.

Bill Z. Bubba and Captain Biteypants! Bitey is 7, and a total bastard. he hides under beds and attacks ankles, and will push his rear end in your face any time he hops up into your lap. Ambystoma posted:This cat is a bad cat. Aww, she looks so cute! I would've wussed out and bought another planter. It's amazing how in 6 months they can go from the two puffs I picked up from the pound on my birthday: to two rascals that love to impede my ikea construction (and I let them): Chief (as in Deck Chief Galen Tyrol) is the grey and white. He's as smart as he is lazy in addition to being a pig. He is also very vocal and bossy which is how he got the name Chief. We also call him Fatty Boo or Chief-er Sutherland. Geisha is the calico. We also call her Gigi. She is a purr machine/acrobat and loves to lie on expensive leather handbags. She is a perfect little lady.

This is my family's dog, Lexie. She was a golden retriever/lab mix who passed away today. I'll think of her every time we make popcorn (it was her favorite; she'd sit in front of us and whine if we were eating it without sharing).

My cat Obama: 2 months old. First got him on 20th Jan. 2009 while watching Obama's inauguration. He was actually born sometime in November 2008 (according to a local newspaper, disputed). 3 months old. drat Cute, blue eyes and all Getting fat! Lazy gently caress, glorious coat. Shaved coat, one of the worst experinces in our lives (vet gave him some form of anesthetic that rendered him completely limp/unconcious, I was pretty shaken up by the end of the day). Admiring plants. Found out that he's diabetic a couple months after that picture, but he's doing great so far! Gets a daily insulin injection and chases other cats around. I SMELL HOTDOG Most recent picture: So drat fat. Optimizing his insulin/diet. Ham fucked around with this message at 16:55 on Nov 16, 2012 |

This is Jewel when she was 12. I got her initially when I was 10, so I've now been her slave human for the majority of my life. She turned 16 this year but doesn't really look it. Fully clawed, spayed, indoor and spoiled, her hobbies include blocking my view to anything I'm trying to look at, "making biscuits" on my shoulder to vent her love-anger, and sneezing weakly out of spite if I am not paying attention to her. She knows I worry my brains out because she's aged, so she makes sure to utilize this for a daily treat and excessive pettings because she is just that diabolical. This is a beautiful picture. Well done! quote:Those earsssss! Very cute. I wish my camera would have focused more on the dog and less on the weeds. Here he is looking quite majestic at the park near our house. Goliath has been with us for one week now and he is adjusting well. He gets to visit the park every morning (with extra trips and walks throughout the day) and he loves it. Such an explorer. He is an old dog but he still loves bouncing around in the nature like a pup.

Sorry PI that I haven't been around much. I figured I should update you guys with some pictures I took yesterday while trying not to clean the house with my wife. Sagan knows she's not allowed on the couch, but when the camera comes out all bets are off: Cosmo loving hates the vacuum, so I hid in the closet with him, but when I got out of there he didn't want to leave: So we brought in a specialist to talk to him: It worked, and the big baby made his run for the bed/safety: Sagan requires pillows and blankets to lay on, at all times: (She actually climbs above our heads and will lay on our pillows and or faces) The dogs can't stand cleaning day and just want to play or cuddle or go on walks or anything but clean: LET ME IN YOU GUYS FORGOT ABOUT ME!!! Anyway, Cosmo and Sagan are doing fine. Sagan still flips her poo poo at people, but not as often as before. And actually the other night she let our neighbor walk her while I was putting up lights on the tree in the sidewalk out front, and she apparently didn't flip her poo poo at anyone. Maybe that's the trick— let other people walk her... Also it turns out using a ball to distract her works way better than any kind of food, wish I could've learned that sooner. Cosmo seems to be becoming this huge pampered baby, so I might have to stop spoiling and cuddling and loving on him so much because he's really just a huge pussy now, but cute as gently caress.

This is the little furry 'tard that i share my home with. Her name is Miku or 'Furburger'. She's a year old russian blue and she was cast upon me by a friend of the family who turned out to be allergic to cats. Within a very short time she has taken over my bed and if i decide i want to go to sleep, she has to sleep either around my head or on the pillow beside me. This is fine apart from i roll around in my sleep and often end up rolling onto her, which in turn sends her into a whirling dervish of razor sharp kitten claws. Shes adorable though and for all her faults i wouldn't swap her for the world

Dog Chat got me feeling nostalgic Back in May, we had to put down our amazing family dog, Shiloh. A three-legged beagle who had survived a bullet to the leg (it was how we found him) and several encounters with cancer. In the end, after fourteen years of skittering around without issues, his poor spine ended up wearing down due to his walking/hopping. One of my favorite pictures of him, near the last six months of his life. He was always so darned happy I dunno if I'll ever encounter another dog that compares to his personality or ability to "read" people. Well, I was visiting the folks for Thanksgiving, and it was decided at long last that we needed a new family dog. Molly! Five years old, we snagged her from a shelter. Her jerk owners abandoned her, and we're REALLY trying hard to figure out why. She's wonderfully trained, smart, and loves snugglin'.

While we're posting oldcats: Mouser, my dad's cat, was born in 1985 and they finally put her down in March 2010. Last few years she just stayed up in that nook and berated anyone who walked by, while having food and water brought to her. "A mouse in the kitchen? gently caress you, I'm retired"
