FWIW, I had Phil Douglas in my minors during the EC, and at the end of April it had him rated at 91. Here's the screenshot:

The Providence Barons used 1912 Claude Hendrix in the EC, and it shows him with an 86/90 rating. That was his second year in the league. By 1919 he's got a significant amount of MLB experience, so he should be close to that 90. Here's the screenshot of that:

I'll agree to this trade with the stipulations you mentioned above. The PTBNL I'd like is 1964 Robin Roberts. If by some chance they're actually average above 92, for the second PTBNL I'll take 1932 Eppa Rixey.

It's my understanding that my current pick runs out at 6 PM PST. Hence, I'm going to give Cthulhu til 5 PM PST to beat this offer, and if not I accept in all particulars.

In addition to baby Sherm Lollar, who we're still looking to move, we're adding:

1995 Greg Maddux, 19-2, 1.63 ERA, 7.87 K/BB.

We're not particularly eager to move him, but we have enough pitching depth to cover for him now. What we want in return: a superstar shortstop of the Ripken/Arky Vaughan/A-Rod level, who can hit and play defense.

With the 33rd pick of the Dispersal Draft, the Web 2.0 BloggersBETA are pleased to select Mr. 1902 Noodles Hahn!

We also have a trade to announce.

Bloggers give: 1902 Noodles Hahn, 1968 John Hiller
Dervishes give: 1975 Carlton Fisk
Stipulation: This trade will not go into effect until the Bloggers trade 1932 Ernie Lombardi. (edit for pedantry: If the Bloggers do not trade Lombardi before the end of the Dispersal Draft, the trade will be void.)

Since we're not constrained by my draft pick anymore, I'm going to give CthulhuDreams (or anyone else) a chance to beat the following offer:

Bloggers give: 1932 Ernie Lombardi, 1964 Robin Roberts
Failures give: 1919 Phil Douglas, 1919 Claude Hendrix
Stipulations:
1) If Douglas and Hendrix average less than 87 OVR, Bloggers gain the right to cancel this trade until the first month of SuperLeague VIII has passed.
2) If Douglas and Hendrix average more than 92 OVR, Failures will also receive 1932 Eppa Rixey

If I don't receive a better offer by CthulhuDreams's next post, I'll accept both these trades.

1) Robert_Deadford, if that offer beats mine please let me know if there's anything I can do in the way of MIF + RP + ??? to top it.

2) If anyone else wants to let me move up in the 3rd round, either adding a pick or swapping them, let me know.

3) If I were able to acquire a Robin Yount, would anyone with a plus-fielding SS be willing to swap with me? Whether I add something, you add something, or you just value defense less so we trade straight across.

Hey Monicro, Robert_deadford, Shadowgamer, UZ worm, or Brooklyn Bruiser,
I want one of your upcoming picks. For this pick I am offering the following:

My supplemental round pick (#66)
One of the following: 72' Mel Stottlemyre or 76' Jim Kaat
One of the following: 06' Vernon Wells or 76' Gary Maddox

I'm willing to negotiate. If you are wondering, my feeders are the '76 Phillies, and the 95' and 72' Yankees. Be wary that I dumped some people from those teams in the Super Auction though.

e: I guess not Monicro, then.

e2: The Mystery Box is going to be Nick Punto. Please let it be Nick Punto.

I'd sell my soul for a pitcher with a power sinker...
Not too pleased with my low spot in the supplemental round (did I gain anything but an unearned sense of achievement by getting into the EC playoffs?), I'm shopping some of my better feeder players and the incumbents whose roster spots they're gunning for (and I'm open to trading just about anyone outside of a few core guys, but most would take more than draft picks).

I've got decent starters - 1964 Al McBean, 2011 John Danks and Gavin Floyd, 2012 Ross Detwiler and Jordan Zimmermann, '11-12 Edwin Jacksons; comedy option 1964 Steve Blass; a few relievers - '64 Wilbur Wood and Roy Face, '11 Sergio Santos; and some solid hitters - '64 LF Jerry Lynch and C Smoky Burgess, '11 RF Carlos Quentin and SS Alexei Ramirez, '04 Rafael Palmeiro if you want to try to squeeze some HRs out of a 39-year-old, '11 Adam Dunn if you're not a fan of balls in play.

Defensive-minded teams might have interest in '64 Mazeroski or 2004 Jerry Hairston (if only for his utility-ness) while I continue to field a set of special gentlemen who make their pitchers cry.
