Come on, Land. At least trace the actress that plays the character.

I don't think Gwyneth Paltrow's ever done a spread in Hustler.

I know it's meant to be shading but the image of Pepper's hairy arm isn't helped by her giant manhands.

He also uses Sandra Bullock a lot, I believe. I always thought it was weird that in Invincible Iron Man, Pepper looked so much like Nicole Kidman.

NorgLyle posted:Yeah I was completely baffled when Iron Man started because both Paltrow and RDJ have done so drat many movies that I just assumed we'd be getting some new Land models. I expected that was the whole point. It's bizarre seeing that same woman he uses for everybody still being used for everybody. Well not to blow your mind or anything but Land is really loving lazy. He's not going to take the time to go through those movies when he's already got a catalogue of pictures he can trace. He's probably got the drat things indexed by scenes he thinks they work in at this point.

Still can't get over how her hair is blending into Tony's head. Did Land seriously just copypaste?

Goddamn, I love that panel. I really love the narration too, and feel that it too often gets overlooked in favor of just gazing at the rad image. You just don't get intros like "The indestructible Nick Fury appears like a human cyclone to face a new foe!" anymore. Oh, and here's a panel from Deadpool #3:

Is it a printer error or some kind of effect to convey his voice being gravelly?

Nope, whenever Deadpool talks, he has yellow speech bubbles, probably to "show" that his voice is quite distinct. Also Deadpool is incredibly insane.
