Yup, fears confirmed about Real Madrid home.

Contrast piping is coming back. This, plus some of this seasons abberations, means that the brief, Tailored-by-Umbro-initated Second Golden Age of Football Kits is well and truly at an end.

Well Umbro got bought out by a company owned by Wal Mart that just likes to license their brand names to sweatshops so I figured the writing has been on the wall for some time.

It looks pretty neat. Maybe they can do a classic kit free of frills every five years. At least the fans won't be perpetually pissed off with the kit.

Eagerly awaiting city's new Nike kit. The home will probably be a special polyester fabric made with numbered barrels of UAE crude, each one a unique testament to the club's modern heritage.

The away will have a subtle print of a Carlos Tevez pay stub.

Shop around for doctors! Always fucking shop for doctors. Doctors are stupid assholes. And they get by because people are cowed by their mystical bullshit quality of being able to maintain a 3.0 GPA at some Guatemalan medical college for 3 semesters. Find one that makes sense.

You know someone in the design team was like "Ok this all red with simple yellow sponsor, badge and warrior logo looks great. How about all white with red letters for the away?" and then everyone said Nope and made the black/grey thing.

Actually, what is the contract with Warrior like for that, does anyone know? If I remember right, the Adidas deal stated the shirt would be changed every other year, but I assume with Warrior we'll be as money grabbing as every other club?

Kills Drifters for erections
Still looking for a United women's small away jersey. My wife bought my a Kagawa jersey from some site online and we noticed the lettering on mine was sort of a fuzzy feel to it and the last jersey she got directly from United had a plasticy feel to the numbers. Anyone know why?

a top top lad
Feb 28, 2003

Triffic really. Proper player.
The fuzzy lettering is Lextra, what's actually used on the on-field shirts. Some clubs and stores use those on the replicas. The vinyl ones are just for fan jerseys.

*blep*

The fuzzy lettering also collects fuzz like crazy.

I didn't have to wash my old shirt many times for the lettering to be all grey from washer fuzz sticking to it. Never been able to get it out since :-/

I think that's quite nice, reminds me of some of their old shirts from the 80s/90s.

I've always been glad Liverpool don't have stripes or hoops tbh, as there's not much you can do with them. Aside from changing it like Southampton have done this season, you're pretty much getting the same shirt every year.

Just picked up this season's AC Milan shirt for a tenner in a jjb clearance store in Winchester. They had loads of home and away plus other teams including EPL. Definitely had chelsea, city, Wigan and Liverpool although all in small quantities. Lots of Spain shirts too. They have a sign saying new stock daily so they may get other teams too.

Also got a Wales matchday jacket for 7.50 as it had no price and the guy thought it was the shirt.

Yeah, up until the past two seasons, TFC were the only Canadian team in MLS, so they got used to having a very Canadian image, and aren't about to stop now. Don't worry, the Gods have seen fit to punish them by being a terrible team except for when they can troll cup competitions.
