The account I made for JP P&D came in useful again \o/ To probably no-one at alls surprise, Star Command has been delayed again. The once 100% in January statement has now changed to Sometime, they have announced a worldwide launch instead of a soft launch as previously discussed. This has to just be an elaborate troll by now right?

Kalyx level 4 Machinist in Life is Magic. It seems like having a party is really important. Beat the fifth level of a couple level 1 dungeons, but it seems like pure luck whether the boss decides to one shot you or not.

The banner ad isn't annoying on my android tablet because the screen is so huge but I think I would hate it on a tiny phone screen. The game is pretty neat though and Kairosoft Pokemon is right up my alley.

It's been left behind in the genre it kickstarted. Other games have already done more fluid courses, bits where you're not running, etc. so I'm not sure what "new" they're bringing to the table? Still, they've got brand recognition so it'll set the charts on fire.

Thanks to whoever suggested Pharaoh's Run. I hate slots in casinos, but the lack of actual money at stake here and the obviously more favorable pay outs make this nice to have around. And the progression mechanic works well.

Did a quick search and this seems only mentioned in the Android games thread. Dungelot. I guess you could describe it as a roguelike minesweeper, or dungeonraid vs an advent calendar or something. You touch to reveal tiles which contain monsters to fight, or loot, or upgrades, or spells, or artifacts... all sorts of stuff. One monster on each level has the key to the next level, and the aim is to get as deep as possible to unlock different characters with different abilities. There's a free version if you want to check it out first, not sure what the limits in that are though. Anyway, it's just a little casual timekiller, but I've been having fun with it.

duckfarts posted:Ascension is super-solid - it's easy to pick up and digest, it's polished, and online play works great. I'm thinking of pushing my brother into getting the expansions with me to see how those are. Solforge is actually going to be a CCG when the full game releases, which is significantly different than the deck-building style of game that Ascension is. Unlike a deck-builder, in which you build your deck from available cards as you play, in Solforge you'll be building a deck ahead of time and playing against either an AI or an opponent who also has a custom deck built. Right now, though, the Solforge demo is just two pre-made decks, so it's very easy to pick up and play to see if you like it.

Here's a video I found. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vu3paDJJLEw I think they've come on great strides since the first game, and the diffuse texturing is nice. I think it looks quite flat though and the popping/fading in of geometry detracts a little. You'd think a small company behind a product that's been downloaded 170 million times would push the boat out a tonne! Still, I think it's a nice job. Just wondering what you guys think

Using two monks is the way to go in Life Is Magic. If you have your spells properly set up you can chain your combos together to do a ridiculous amount of damage per turn.

Could someone recommend me a decent rhythm/ music game for the iOS? I'm after something with a similar concept, though not necessarily similar gameplay, to the DS' Elite Beat Agents, where my musical performance lets me work towards some other goal, participate in combat, or something similar. As opposed to just making music for the sake of it/ for points. e: I imagine it's a long shot, but something that's basically Infinity Blade The Musical would be great in my books. abraham linksys posted:Beat Sneak Bandit is going to be your jam. The way the screen seems to freeze then jerk when turning a corner is what turned me off. Couldn't they have smoothed that out by not making everything a 90 degree turn?

In on the Life is Magic ign: OMGzKakaniz level 4 Monk. As others have said you kinda need to have a party it seems. Game still is kinda odd to me, being as I live in a small town I have already run out of buildings to influence. Any reason you can just spam influence the buildings for xp or did I miss something in the tutorial?

Am I the only one thrown off by the scenery in that temple run 2 video? I know it's all randomly generated but when your levels is a walkway high above the clouds with nothing in from of you but a right turn followed by 2 sharp lefts leadigg into a long oath with mountain tops makes my mental compass all crazy. (should have been visible before the first right turn)
