It was the same incident, his wife or girlfriend or whatever accused him of abuse, coercion and attempted murder so he jumped on the first plane and fled before having to appear on court. The woman later dropped the charges. The federation suspended him from the national team for 5 months which he served a long time ago, but stupid Pinto prefers to call up benchwarmer Navas instead of him anyway. He probably paid her off or something, who knows?

He was suspended for a different incident, when he took off from the national team without saying a word to anyone, supposedly because he wasn't gonna be a starter, also the reason Pinto will never call him again, it was a prick move honestly, doing that in any team will get you thrown out. I feel like he's too much of a hoodlum and Pinto hates those types of guys. At least he's young, he's got tons of time to shine with the national team and he'll definitely sign for a top team too.
