AnonSpore posted:He was using Doom, Magneto, Wolvie with Wolvie on point and two beam assists when I saw him, though that's pretty much because that was all Justin had showed him at the time. He was also playing around with some Vergil and some Zero. He had the start of sword loops and the beginnings of sword loop when I saw that.

According to a friend that played him in Korea, he's a beast with Akuma.

Infiltration is staying with Justin until Friday so we'll see what he can learn and take back to Korea for practice after his weekend in Brazil. Speaking of, Justin is playing AE online with Adon https://www.twitch.tv/eg_jwong Juicebox was also playing AE online but with Guy http://www.twitch.tv/juiceboxabel Haven't seen anything about Battle Circuit but it would be on https://www.twitch.tv/teamsp00ky Valle will be on Live on Three to talk SCR. drat, watch Infiltration come in at Evo and go 3-0 against ChrisG in grand finals. Seriously though, does anyone know if he ever played any MvC2? He's an amazing player at SF4, and I'm guessing some of his skills will probably transfer over to MvC3, but I'm wondering how long it will take him to accumulate all the smaller details of the game, all the matchup experience, and things like that. Considering that a lot of players from Asia have some god like execution abilities, it'd would probably be a huge factor that can make them a threat to be taken seriously. I'm curious how long it will take him to assimilate all the knowledge, Infiltration is a loving computer it seems. Hopefully his AE game won't suffer from all the UMvC3 practicing, as unlikely as that might be. The guy seems like a really nice and humble fellow though, the only thing I don't like about him is that he pretty much murders hype once he inevitably downloads an opponent.

The vast majority of Koreans only know MvC2 as That Game Justin Wong is Really Good At.

I would watch West Coast Rumble instead of Wednesday Night Fights every week if it meant Alex Valle on the mic talking like this. Steve gushing at Infiltration and Infiltration's silence as he understands nothing. AnonSpore fucked around with this message at 06:59 on Jan 24, 2013 |

"...........okay" They're getting somewhere though, props to this translator, she's doing a great job now as she did on CCLive. I just want to hear Infiltration divulge all the SF tech, he's really learned on the game/community and hearing his insight must be some kind of sought after privilege, glad to hear it right here right now.

Ehh. She's pretty obviously rusty with Korean, especially with getting the meaning of fighting game terms across, but she's better than nothing I guess.

AnonSpore posted:The interpreter keeps interrupting before Infiltration is done talking, ugh. I think she's just trying to translate what she can before she's left with a wall of speech to try to get across all at once. When that happens without some professional translator to help the response ends up being cut short and you lose quite a bit of the original dialogue. Anyway, it's crazy that Infiltration is as new as he is and he's already Daigo-level dominating the SF scene, I need to see him pick up UMVC3 ASAP.

What in the history of Japanese/Korean players who are really good at Street Fighter (especially SF4) is leading people to believe that one of them will suddenly become really good at Marvel?

Because MvC3 isn't that hard to be good at compared to 2.
