drat I wish I had remembered to listen to IG Culture's new Rinse show before now. That 1am-3am Saturday slot is a killer. Fantastic beats all round. For those who dig Dilla and even those Juke fans, he ran a nice footwork section in his recent show, including some pretty awesome Roy Ayers remix.

What does have a vinyl release however is one of my fav records of the week, the new EP by Doubleheart. What happens when you mix up Optimo's JD Twitch and Neil Landstrumm? This happens. Even better than that release they had last year on Nonplus if you ask me. The sheer swagger that is in the track Ghent definitely does it for me.

Real loving shame since they used to be something back in the day. I guess a mixture between the Rinse series stealing their thunder and just a general, I don't want to say lack of interest since the kind of stuff Tempa pushes and all that is still popular, but just a lack of hype at all. And eh, I'm not really sold on that Witch Doktor mix. Mind you I generally think all those old Strictly Rhythm tracks are best left alone. Some of them are just too classic it'd really take something to beat. And wow seeing what label that L-Vis 1990 release is coming out on, yet another Clone sub-label I had completely forgot about. How many is that now? Speaking of which I really need to get that third Drexciya volume they just put out. I've got the others in the series and I'll be damned if I miss one of my favourite tunes of theirs.

I'm a big fan of Straight & Arrow and I've been playing the Four Tet remix. The video is also really great. Any opinions on the album? I would love to see him one day.

Oops sorry! I had downloaded it not listened yet hehe. I like mixes with fast track switching its always cool. I thought i heard rumours about a possible Quality Street Vol. 2 with maybe the VIP on, but doesn't seem to be the case for the next release at least.
